    About :

There's something about that country that catches my attention, so I've always wanted to visit it. But from a distance, I've come to appreciate its people, its good football, its landscapes, and above all its music.

Many years ago I heard this song that I'm referencing in this post, which talks about "The Muleteer", a title that corresponds to the functions of the person who herds the livestock. And among its content I could interpret it in different ways, not only to the specific of these functions, but also to what resembles life.

This song was composed by the Argentine writer and musician Héctor Roberto Chavero, better known as Atahualpa Yupanqui, many years ago. It's a song that became popular in Argentina and even today it's part of the folklore of this beautiful country.

I hope you enjoy this version, very attached to my style.

    Original Audio | Atahualpa Yupanqui

    "The Muleteer"

In the sands the whirlwinds dance
The sun plays in the brightness of the stone field
And clinging to the magic of the roads
The muleteer goes, the muleteer goes

His poncho is a flag of mist in the wind
He is greeted by the flutes of the meadow
And encouraging the troops over those hills
The muleteer goes, the muleteer goes

The sorrows and the little cows
    Go down the same path
    The sorrows are ours
    The little cows are strangers

A slaughter of suns shows the afternoon
The lights of the stone field have gone to sleep
And encouraging the troops, come on now
The muleteer goes, the muleteer goes

Amalaya, may the night bring a memory
    That makes my loneliness lighter
Like a shadow in the shadow over those hills
The muleteer goes, the muleteer goes
