As we are both fans of the band Zoé, well, we are going to dedicate this song to them, in its studio version in which the great Enrique Bunbury makes an extraordinary participation.

Este temazo pertenece originalmente al disco Reptilectric del 2008, aunque la canción se estrenó como el segundo sencillo de la banda unos meses antes, es el segundo track de ese disco. Cabe destacar que en el álbum recopilatorio 01-10 del 2010, León Larregui (vocalista de la banda) hace una versión de la canción junto a Enrique Bunbury que luego recrearían para el "Umplugged" de la cadena MTV en una versión acústica pero rediseñada por el extraordinario productor musical Phil Vinall.

This great song originally belongs to the album Reptilectric from 2008, although the song was released as the band's second single a few months before, it is the second track on that album. It should be noted that in the compilation album 01-10 from 2010, León Larregui (vocalist of the band) makes a version of the song together with Enrique Bunbury that they would later recreate for the "* Umplugged*" on MTV in an acoustic version but re-engineered by music producer extraordinaire Phil Vinall.

📀 En ese disco (Reptilectric) también están incluidos temas que Phil produjo para el mencionado "Acústico", como "Sombra", "Poli" y "Luna". Versiones que están ensambladas con instrumentos convencionales como pianos, guitarras, xilófono o bajo eléctrico (tipo viola). Y otros no tan convencionales como una jaula de pájaros, una Matroska, y otros artilugios electrónicos de mano que configuran una atmósfera única e interesante.

⭐️ZOÉ⭐️

🎼 Los Zoé son una banda que posee un sonido interesante, tiene una onda psicodélica pero con ese carácter (a mi entender) del Electro Rock. Creo que rompe con lo que acostumbramos a escuchar en las bandas mexicanas, mostrando un sonido muy europeo y con letras que juegan con la imaginación a la hora de interpretarlas. Cuando decidimos hacer la canción "Nada", notamos que la letra es como una especie de receta para una poción mágica que quizás sirva para aliviar y curar alguna pena o resequedad del alma. Por eso la percibimos como una rola gitana por aquello del brebaje mágico que describe 👨‍🔬. Por supuesto, todo esto es meramente subjetivo y cualquiera lo puede interpretar como quiera, pero para nosotros, esa fue la percepción.

🎼 The Zoé are a band that has an interesting sound, it has a psychedelic vibe but with that character (in my opinion) of Electro Rock. I think it breaks with what we are used to hearing in Mexican bands, showing a very European sound and with lyrics that play with the imagination when interpreting them. When we decided to make the song "Nada", we noticed that the lyrics are like a kind of recipe for a magic potion that may serve to alleviate and cure some pain or dryness of the soul. That's why we perceive it as a gypsy song because of the magical concoction it describes 👨‍🔬. Of course, this is all purely subjective and anyone can interpret it however they want, but for us, that was the perception.

⭐️MÚSICO INVITADO⭐️

⭐️Edwards Tobia es un artista muy destacado y que tiene esa energía que contagia al primer impulso. Siempre está desarrollando una idea y siempre está en una búsqueda incesante de reescribir su propia historia como músico y como artista. Con él me ha tocado trabajar y producir algunos de sus trabajos como su primer sencillo "Ojos Amarillos", tema que recibió muy buenas críticas y que forma parte del cancionero del Pop Rock Venezolano.
Además, estamos acompañados del maestro David Pacheco, que ya es nuestro guitarrista oficial en estos mini conciertos y que también es músico de sesión en Artefacto Studio⭐️.

⭐️Edwards Tobia is a very outstanding artist and he has that contagious energy at first impulse. He is always developing an idea and is always on a relentless quest to rewrite his own history as a musician and as an artist. With him I have had to work and produce some of his works such as his first single "Ojos Amarillos", a song that received very good reviews and is part of the Venezuelan Pop Rock songbook.
In addition, we are accompanied by the teacher David Pacheco, who is already our official guitarist in these mini concerts and who is also a session musician at Artefacto Studio⭐️.

📖 Creo que escuchar diversos trabajos musicales, es como entrenar no solo el oído, también las sensaciones. La música latina, el Jazz, el Pop o el Rock, tienen en su ADN algo único y que podemos interpretar con la libertad que nuestros sentidos nos permita. Esto nos coloca en diferentes universos, según sea el género que decidamos consumir. Y es que en la rítmica y estética de una canción, hay una serie de sabores emocionales o mentales que nos transfiere a un espacio sensorial único. Es en esos universos donde nos refugiamos cuando queremos usar la música para aliviar o desvanecer cualquier aflicción 😔. Aplica también para regresar la alegría 😊.

📖 I think that listening to various musical works is like training not only the ear, but also the sensations. Latin music, Jazz, Pop or Rock, have something unique in their DNA that we can interpret with the freedom that our senses allow us. This places us in different universes, depending on the genre we decide to consume. And it is that in the rhythm and aesthetics of a song, there is a series of emotional or mental flavors that transfer us to a unique sensory space. It is in those universes where we take refuge when we want to use music to relieve or fade any affliction 😔. Also apply to return joy 😊.
