Dear community, today I bring you a solution to keep in good condition the green notes, a long time ago a friend of mine, in one of her trips I call her attention a wallet, wallet type, which seemed great to put the money and bought it as a souvenir, when she returned from her trip, telling me her anecdotes she showed me the fantastic wallet, by that time she was very proud of her purchase, I was fascinated, it was something new to me, and I liked it. She never let me touch it because I immediately told her it was very beautiful and easy to make, of course my friend knowing my skills in crafts did not let me detail it, because she wanted to be the only one who had that innovation.

For some time now, here in our country, in addition to our own currency, we have been using the parallel currency, the dollar, as in other countries; we use it to buy food and other supplies, there are some private companies that pay their workers in dollars, and there are people whose relatives send them remittances. The peculiarity of this is that it has been imposed in everyday life and it is here in the only country where people do not receive a dollar if the banknote is not in good condition, for me it is logical, if it is extremely deteriorated, but the reality is different, if the banknote has a small stain, or is wrinkled, or has a small opening and has been glued that is sometimes imperceptible, the banknote is not well received, no matter what its denomination.

This creates a lot of inconvenience for the user, as they cannot find a place to exchange them or someone to receive them, even large businesses, such as shopping centres, shops, or health centres, among others, refuse to receive these banknotes. But people make it up, so there are people who repair the banknotes, wash them and leave them almost new, and there are also establishments that receive them in whatever state they are in, it seems that the mentality is, if it is dirty it is a fake, although we know that the banknotes are not printed here.

But that is the reality, now many years have gone by, so many things have happened and many people have changed course due to the economic crisis and other personal things, my friend is part of that group of people.

Having done this preamble let's continue with the wallet, in fact I photographed it in my mind when I saw the purse, and I made it, so as not to forget it, now with this fashion of banknotes in my country the idea came to me to take out that file in my memory and here I present the Wallet Holder.

For this we will need: fabrics, cardboard, scissors, pencil, a piece of paper money, which we will use as a pattern, elastic band and glue; if you want it to be very pretty, the fabrics must be colourful, remember that I work with recycled material.

First of all, we take the cardboard and place the banknote on top of it, we are going to draw it on its outline, then we cut the cardboard where the lines are, we can see that both the paper money and the cardboard are the same size, in this way we cut four pieces of cardboard.

Then we proceed to cut the fabrics, taking a cardboard as a pattern and cut four of them, they can be different colours or the same, as you prefer, then we line each cardboard, see images.

In the next step we cut four strips of the elastic, as detailed in the images, we start to stick the elastic stretching it a little bit, we wait for them to adhere, we leave half an hour so that they dry well and do not peel off.

I would tell him the fantastic wallet, - Why? he said: because of the following, once the wallet is ready, we open it, we introduce the paper money (without putting it through the elastic bands, "Ojo" we just put it in), now we turn the wallet and you will notice that the note is held by the bands, if we turn it again, it lands on the other side.

Porta Billetera Artesanal

Querida comunidad, hoy les traigo una solución para mantener en buen estado los billetes verdes, hace mucho tiempo una amiga, en uno de sus viajes le llamo la atención una cartera, tipo billetera, que le pareció genial para meter el dinero y la compro como un souvenir, cuando ella regreso de su viaje, contándome sus anécdotas me mostro la cartera fantástica, para ese momento ella se mostraba muy orgullosa de su compra, me fascino, era algo nuevo para mí, y me gusto. Ella en ningún momento dejo que yo la tocara porque de inmediato le dije es muy bonita y fácil de hacerla, claro mi amiga sabiendo mis habilidades en las manualidades no dejo yo la detallara, porque ella quería ser la única que tuviera esa innovación.

Les comento desde hace un tiempo aquí en nuestro país además de nuestra moneda, nos estamos manejando como es en otros países con la moneda paralela que es el dólar, ya la utilizamos para comprar alimentos y cualesquiera otros insumos, hay algunas empresas privadas que le pagan a sus trabajadores en dólares, hay personas a quienes sus familiares les envían por remesas. La particularidad de ello es que se ha impuesto en la vida cotidiana y es aquí en el único país donde las personas no reciben un dólar si, el billete no está en buen estado, para mí es lógico, si esta extremadamente deteriorado, pero la realidad es otra, si el billete esta con una manchita, o esta arrugado, o tiene una abertura mínima y se la han pegado que algunas veces es imperceptible, el billete no es bien recibido, no importa su denominación.

Esto le crea al usuario muchas molestias, ya que no encuentra donde cambiarlos o quien se los reciba, los mismos negocios grandes, llámese centros comerciales, tiendas, o centros de salud, entre otros, se niegan a recibir estos billetes. Pero la gente se la inventa, entonces existen las personas que reparan los billetes, los lavan y los dejan casi nuevo, como también hay establecimientos que lo reciben en el estado que se encuentren, pareciera que la mentalidad es, si esta sucio es falso, aunque sabemos que los billetes no se imprimen aquí.

Pero bueno esa es la realidad, ahora ha pasado muchos años, han pasado tantas cosas y mucha gente por la crisis económica, y otras cosas personales, han cambiado el rumbo, mi amiga formo parte de ese grupo de personas.

Hecho este preámbulo sigamos con la cartera, en efecto yo ahí mismo que vi el monedero la fotografié en mi mente, y la realice, para no olvidarla, ahora con esta moda de los billetes en mi país se me vino la idea de sacar ese archivo en mi memoria y aquí les presento la Porta Billetera.

Para ello vamos a necesitar: telas, cartón tijeras, lápiz, un papel moneda, que vamos a utilizarlo como un patrón, tira elástica y pega; si la quieren muy bonita, las telas deben de ser vistosa, acuérdense que yo trabajo con material reciclado.

En primer lugar, tomamos el cartón y le colocamos el billete encima vamos a dibujarlo en su contorno, luego cortamos el cartón por donde están las líneas, podemos observar que tanto el papel moneda, como el cartón están del mismo tamaño, de esta forma cortamos cuatro cartones.

Luego procedemos a cortar las telas, tomando como patrón un cartón y cortamos cuatro, pueden ser diferentes colores o iguales, como ustedes prefieran, luego forramos cada cartón, ver imágenes.

En el siguiente paso cortamos cuatro tiras de la elástica, como se detalla en las imágenes, comenzamos a pegar la elástica estirándola un poquito, esperamos que se adhieran, dejamos una media hora para que se sequen bien y no se despeguen.

Yo le diría la billetera fantástica, - ¡Por qué? le dijo: por lo siguiente, una vez lista la cartera, la abrimos, introducimos el papel moneda (sin meterlo por las elásticas, “Ojo” solo lo colocamos), ahora giramos la cartera y notaras que el billete esta sostenido de las ligas, si giramos otra vez, se posa en el otro lado.
