The theme of this week encourages us to share our own original or composed song. This was really difficult for me because I don't think my brain was ready to compose music at this time (lol).

I was at the verge of giving up because all attempts I made towards composing a song proved futile. However, I knew that under normal circumstances it shouldn't be really difficult for me. Yes, because if you play musical instruments where you can strike some chords, and create chord progressions it will be easy for you to create a melody out of the chord progression.

And this was how I got the inspiration to compose this piece. After composing a tentative melody, I began looking for how I'd compose some words that will fit into the Melody, then the words of Psalm 23 from the Bible hit me. And I felt it was perfect to use.

El tema de esta semana nos anima a compartir nuestra propia canción original o compuesta. A mí me resultó muy difícil porque no creo que mi cerebro estuviera preparado para componer música en ese momento (lol).

Estaba a punto de rendirme porque todos los intentos que hice para componer una canción resultaron inútiles. Sin embargo, sabía que en circunstancias normales no debería resultarme realmente difícil. Sí, porque si tocas instrumentos musicales con los que puedes tocar algunos acordes y crear progresiones de acordes, te resultará fácil crear una melodía a partir de la progresión de acordes.

Y así fue como me inspiré para componer esta pieza. Después de componer una melodía tentativa, empecé a buscar la manera de componer algunas palabras que encajaran en la melodía, entonces las palabras del Salmo 23 de la Biblia me golpearon. Y me pareció perfecta para usarla.

The choice of The Lord is my shepherd us not just because I needed a filler or some words just to fit into my melody and then I'd present. No, it is an assurance to me as I walk down the difficult path I'm walking towards at this moment. It assures me that God is with me. He is my shepherd and my guide, and He will safeguard me.

This, I wholeheartedly believe and I'm ever more strengthened to keep on moving because Oluwa (God) got my back!

La elección de El Señor es mi pastor nosotros no sólo porque necesitaba un relleno o algunas palabras sólo para encajar en mi melodía y luego me presentaría. No, es una seguridad para mí mientras camino por la difícil senda hacia la que me dirijo en este momento. Me asegura que Dios está conmigo. Él es mi pastor y mi guía, y Él me salvaguardará.

Creo en esto de todo corazón y me siento más fuerte para seguir adelante porque Oluwa (Dios) me cubre las espaldas.
