Begining The First Weeding Of My Maize Farm

I spent 2 Hours after school to weed my maize farm. I've taken my farm as a part time work which I can visit at my own convenient time or at any point in time when I've free time.

The farm is in proximity to our school, about 7mins walk. Before going to school, I had planned to visit the farm right from school.

I took my catlass and farm trousers and shirt. Immediately we closed, I rushed to the farm to begin the weeding. One would ask; why I've chosen to weed manually without applying herbicides. Yes, I've discovered that the farm have a lot of cocoyam sprouted all the farm. In an attempt to apply the herbicides would kill all the cocoyam which is a source of food and also vegetables from their leaves. That's why I've chosen to weed the portion that have lots of cocoyam emerged.

I arrive in the farm around 3:11pm, I changed my dress into farming mood 😊 and began weeding. The weeds are very light since we applied the Non-selective herbicides just about 1 month and a week. I didn't find the weeding to be very tedious. At some point I used my hands to pull out the weeds especially those which were closer to the base of the maize plants. By 2hours time, I'd covered weeding about 12m square of the farm. I was very excited 😆 when I looked back as what I'd been able to cover.

At least my coming next time would help me to cover large portion. I closed when it was 5:50pm. It dimness of the weather was encroaching so I hurriedly came to pick taxi at the road side. See me in my next activity in the farm. Thanks for your attention!
