Es un gusto estar por acá con ustedes participando en este evento musical : FESTIVAL DE MÚSICA FOLCLÓRICA en su semana 3. Es primera vez que participó en esta comunidad que promueve la música Folclórica latina, lo cual me parece interesante porque proyectamos nuestras tradiciones a través de nuestras canciones sobre todo nuestro folclor venezolano. Así, que gustosamente me presento por acá porque la iniciativa es extraordinaria. Por último les traigo un tema de mi autoría, titulado LA PILANDERA, tradición venezolana que se hace en casi todo el territorio nacional. Esa mujer que canta mientras pila en su mundo. Esperando que les guste mi primera participación.

LA PILANDERA

Pilando la Pilandera
En el pilón se quedó
Pilando el blanco maíz
Que por tiempo cosechó.

La Pilandera cantaba
Los versos de su pregón
La fulía que entonaba
Lo triste de su canción.

Y dice la Pilandera
En su entonada canción
Que el marido que tenía
Se murió del corazón.

De tres hijos que tenía
Uno de ellos se murió
Los dos otros se le fueron
Cada quien con su ilusión.

La casa donde vivía
El techo se le cayó
Ahora vive en un ranchito
De una sola habitación.

En el fogón con su haripo
Y en el patio el tinajón
Y a un cochino que mantiene
Con el nepe del pilón.

Amasa la Pilandera
El maíz que ayer molió
Para montar sus arepas
Que la gente le encargó.

Sus manos llenas de cayos
De tanto darle al pilón
Son huellas de sacrificio
Para su sustentación.

Pilón, pilón, pilón...

It is a pleasure to be here with you participating in this musical event: FESTIVAL DE MÚSICA FOLCLÓRICA in its week 3. It is the first time that he has participated in this community that promotes Latin Folk music, which I find interesting because we project our traditions through our songs especially our Venezuelan folklore. So, I gladly introduce myself here because the initiative is extraordinary. Finally I bring you a song of my authorship, entitled LA PILANDERA, a Venezuelan tradition that is made in almost the entire national territory. That woman who sings while stacking in her world. THE PILANDER

Pilandera Pilandera
In the pylon he stayed

The Pilandera sang

The house where he lived

Now he lives on a ranch
One room.

And to a pig that keeps

Knead the Pilandera
The corn that was ground yesterday

That people commissioned him.
