The song is all about regards about bad decisions.
He also regards his actions in some certain things he did, as he accepts his mistakes and wrongs.
His ways made him loose a lady he loves so much.
He also seems to be in so much trouble he worries a lot, he pleads for one peaceful day.

Sometimes we lead our live to the wrong side, the effects and consequences will surely come hurting.
Hopefully we get to make the right decisions and choice, though there is no perfect decision or choice.
But in all, I pray we find peace.
