Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, para la semana número 146 de la hermosa tarima de Open Mic les traigo un tema maravilloso llamado “Sororidad”. Fue compuesto por la agrupación española “De espaldas al patriarcado” entre los años 2009 y 2011 el tiempo en el que estuvieron activas como banda. Todas las letras de sus canciones son maravillosas, están llenas de una poderosa energía de las mujeres empoderadas, y que sin duda todas y cada una de nosotras es capaz de sentir y ofrecer.

Lo he dicho en muchas otras ocasiones, mi compañera @aly.squid y yo compartimos un espacio musical llamado “Mujeriegas” ese pequeño rinconcito de letras y acordes ha salvado nuestras vidas en todos esos momentos en donde hemos sentido que no podemos más. Como colectiva lo que hacemos es juntar mujeres en espacio comunitarios para cantar, contar y compartir. Esta es una de las canciones que nos ha acompañado durante los 8 años que llevamos en esta aventura.

Su relación con el tema de esta semana es evidente, Sororidad es una palabra que fue construida desde el feminismo para referirse a la unión y la solidaridad entre nosotras las mujeres. Esa es la unión que quiero expresar en mi post de esta semana. En el mundo un número alarmante de mujeres sufre violencia física, psicológica, patrimonial, económica, emocional, vicaria, entre otras. De todas estas formas de violencia muchas se convierten en femicidios.

Sabemos que muchas cosas tienen que cambiar para que por fin podamos decir que las mujeres y las niñas en el mundo tenemos vidas libres de violencia machista. Pero para lograr estos cambios es imperativo que nos unamos y nos empecemos a ver como hermanas, que nos deslastremos de las enseñanzas perversas del patriarcado que nos han hecho vernos como enemigas, como adversarias.

Un abrazo sororo para todas las mujeres artistas y culturas que integran esta hermosa comunidad, que cada semana publican su talento, trabajo y esfuerzo y nos iluminan el camino. Esta canción se las dedico a todas ustedes, porque juntas somos infinitas.

But to achieve these changes it is imperative that we unite and begin to see each other as sisters, that we rid ourselves of the perverse teachings of patriarchy that have made us see each other as enemies, as adversaries.

A sisterly embrace to all the women artists and cultures that make up this beautiful community, who every week publish their talent, work and effort and illuminate our way. I dedicate this song to all of you, because together we are infinite.
