Showcasing My Talent to the community

There was a time when I published a post here on Hive about my desire to be a Vlogger. My thoughts about who a Vlogger was at the time were that they were one who would create and publish videos about their personal lives or thoughtful messages they wished to share with their audience.

After doing more research and watching lots of vlogs, I realized that there is much more to being a successful vlogger than I initially thought. It requires dedication, creativity, and drive to build an audience and keep them engaged. I'm still passionate about vlogging, and I'm looking forward to learning more and diving deeper into the world of vlogging.

When I first started publishing videos, I think I published three or four, but later stopped.

There were lots of challenges, which included time, a device with a good camera, and several other things. I eventually became overwhelmed and realized that publishing regular videos was too challenging. I decided to focus on other aspects of my business instead.

While I do not publish videos about my life or share certain information with people through my videos, I do publish videos of myself singing. I find singing to be a great way to express myself and connect with my audience. I get great feedback, and it's been a great experience so far.

Hivers who know me well on the blockchain will know that I don't miss publishing my covers of songs in the Afritunes community, and sometimes in the Hive Open Mic community and Hive Learners community for Creative Sunday.

At first, I thought of sharing a 3-minute video of myself doing a cover of one of the songs I know. However, I thought about the fact that I have a lot of them published on my blog, and a lot of people already know that I sing.

In late 2021, I registered for a three-month makeup training session. It was an amazing experience, and I am glad that I was able to complete my training with some tangible knowledge of makeup.

So, aside from singing, I do other things like wig-making, hairstyling, and makeup.

Because they weren't paying me well, I hadn't been actively doing them. I felt that I was exerting a great deal of effort for little pay, which was why I put it aside and focused on other things like writing about the Hive blockchain and working for a pidgin news website instead.

To be honest, I don't regret it.

I understand that the world changes every day and old things get outdated, and that is the reason why I try to stay updated once in a while by watching YouTube videos, and when I have the time, I do physical practice.

The make-up video I attached to this post was recorded a year ago.

On that day I felt bored at home and wanted to do something to kill boredom, so I set up my phone in a good position to record myself, pulled out my make-up products, and got to work on my face.

Even though I had difficulties at that time with eye work, I managed to accomplish something in order to make the video.

As long as I'm not busy with other important work and have the product for your skin tone, I will gladly do anyone's makeup if they call me to render that service to them.

Today, you know that Jessie is not only a singer but also a make-up artist.
