One Month Old Black Copper Maran Chick Experiences Outdoors - A Growing Flock - Baby Chickens

Recently I got four Black Copper Maran baby chicks. Black Copper Marans are known to produce some of the finest, dark brown eggs of all chicken species. They will make a lovely addition to my flock, and their eggs will make a lovely addition to my breakfast. Here's a look at one of the four chicks experiencing the outdoors for the first time. It was a warm day so I decided to take her outside to meet the ducks... She was a bit frightened of them, but they're about 4 times her size.
