Hello everybody on Hive and especially the Hive Music Community! My name is @jasperdick and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town, South Africa!

This is Week 9 of the “Retro Music” challenge! The aim of the game is to play a cover of anything from the 1920s to the 1990s, anything that would be considered a bit “Retro” in this day and age, which opens up a world of possibilities!

Let’s do something that you might not expect to be played on a solo acoustic guitar performance! Let’s also raise the stakes by singing something you wouldn’t expect a man to sing! Let’s do the fantastic “I Will Survive” disco hit from 1978 by Gloria Gaynor, that everybody loves to sing along to, especially ladies because it is such a good song to celebrate the strength a resilience of ladies who don’t need a man in their lives to be happy!

¡Hola a todos en Hive y especialmente a la comunidad musical de Hive! ¡Mi nombre es @jasperdick y les escribo (y canto) desde Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica!

¡Esta es la semana 9 del desafío "Música retro"! El objetivo del juego es jugar una versión de cualquier cosa, desde la década de 1920 hasta la década de 1990, cualquier cosa que se considere un poco "retro" en esta época, ¡lo que abre un mundo de posibilidades!

¡Hagamos algo que quizás no esperes que se toque en una interpretación de guitarra acústica en solitario! ¡También aumentemos las apuestas cantando algo que no esperarías que un hombre cantara!
