Jamming Zone week 01 | Instrumental parts of my G-blues Original Song "Shotgun Wedding"! [Eng-Esp]

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Zone Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from France. (I usually live in Cape Town, South Africa and will be flying home tonight)! Welcome to Week 1 of the Jamming Zone, a brand-new initiative by @juliopalomo!

In this initiative, we are supposed to be jamming and improvising (so I hope @sunsethunter is aware, as this is his bread-and-butter!).

When I get home, I could probably use a loop pedal to create a chord structure to improvise over. For now, while I only have a guitar and a harmonica, perhaps I should just demonstrate some of the instrumental parts of my original blues song “Shotgun Wedding”.

So, this is a song with E-blues chord shapes, but with a capo on the 3rd fret: it is really G-blues!

The harmonica is a C harmonica, but if you emphasise “in-breaths” over “out-breaths”, then it becomes a G-blues harp! (Did you know harmonicas have two reeds per hole so that the “in-breath” sounds different to the “out-breath”? My daughter discovered this pretty well at 13 months old! I was so proud! My wife? Probably not so much! Hahaha!)

Hola a todos en HIVE, y especialmente a la comunidad Music Zone. Mi nombre es Jasper y les escribo (y canto) desde Francia. (Normalmente vivo en Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica y volaré a casa esta noche). ¡Bienvenidos a la Semana 1 de Jamming Zone, una nueva iniciativa de @juliopalomo!
