Hola amigos de Hive, no quiero dejar pasar mucho tiempo, para compartir un video de lo que fueron mis primeros 5 minutos del 2024, el cual recibimos en familia y realizamos el lanzamiento de un globo del deseo también conocido como Chinese Lantern. Cada navidad la recibimos en la casa de mi abuela paterna, que aunque mi abuela ya no nos acompaña, quedó la costumbre de reunirnos allí para recibir el año.

Hello friends of Hive, I do not want to spend much time to share a video of what was my first 5 minutes of 2024, which we received as a family and we made the launch of a balloon of desire also known as Chinese Lantern. Every Christmas we receive it at my paternal grandmother's house, and although my grandmother is no longer with us, the custom of getting together there to receive the year remained.

En esta casa convergía la familia, venían familiares de diferentes estados de Venezuela, incluso de otros países para pasar navidades, por lo que era una gran fiesta. Después de la muerte de mi abuela, y de varios familiares, y el éxodo, el encuentro se redujo bastante.

In this house the family converged, relatives came from different states of Venezuela, even from other countries to spend Christmas, so it was a big party. After the death of my grandmother, and of several relatives, and the exodus, the gathering became less frequent.

En esta ocasión cenamos a eso de 10 pm, y para esperar el nuevo año. Ya faltando una media hora decidimos, comer torta con chispitas de chocolate y uvas. Prendimos un radio para oír la cuenta regresiva, mientras se oía la quema de mucha pólvora en la calle, imagino que se trataba de los famosos año viejos que queman en las calles.

This time we had dinner at about 10 pm, and to wait for the new year. With about half an hour to go, we decided to eat cake with chocolate sprinkles and grapes. We turned on a radio to listen to the countdown, while we could hear the burning of a lot of gunpowder in the street, I imagine it was the famous old years that they burn in the streets.

Al recibir el año, nos dimos el abrazo, y salimos a la calle para lanzar el globo y esto lo que comparto con ustedes en el video.

As we welcomed the year, we gave each other a hug, and went out to the street to launch the balloon and this is what I share with you in the video.
