Hello Hive Open Mic brothers and sisters who remain in good spirits. Greetings and blessings to all. My name is Zein Grind from @indonesiabersatu band, back at the weekly #OpenMic event which has entered its 195th week, with the theme "Amistad" chosen by our friend @nazatpt. This is an interesting theme.

I really like discussing the topic of friendship, because friendship is so important in our lives. Friends are people we can rely on. Friends are always there for us when we need support, both joy and sorrow. In addition, a friend will help us grow and develop as individuals. A friend can give us a new perspective and help us learn from their experiences. A friendship will give us a sense of happiness and fulfillment. Because friendship will strengthen each other.

But, there are times when friendships become tenuous due to differences of opinion. Differences of opinion are natural in every relationship, including friendships. I experienced this in 2019. At that time I had two close friends, but due to differences in political views, the three of us were no longer close. It was during the election period. There were two presidential candidates running. My first friend supported a presidential candidate who leaned towards religious people, my second friend supported a presidential candidate who leaned towards nationalism, and I didn't support either of them because I didn't like identity politics. Initially, my two friends started to fall out because of their different political choices. I tried to bring them back together and told them not to be too fanatical about politics and ideology. But in the end, I was also shunned for not supporting one of them.

From my experience, I covered the song Kepompong by Sindentosca for my two friends who are no longer close to me. This song was released in 2017. Written by Jalu Hikmat Fitriadi. This song also became the soundtrack of the movie with the same title. Overall, this song tells the story of a friendship that used to be so warm, close, and inseparable but now it has become the opposite.
