Hello, Friday! It's time for another edition of #alivevideomaster series. Today, I'm going to talk about changing daily habits. I'm pretty sure we all have that habit we want to work on and change for the better. So, how do you work on changing a habit? Well, I shared some of the ways by which I lessened my dependence on checking my mobile phone. I do believe that was a good habit to break. Now, I enjoy more time for other things.
One way to change a daily habit effectively is to identify what exactly you want to change. As we all know, change does not happen overnight. We actually need to plan for it, have a goal in mind and set a timeline as to when we expect results. Of course, it really helps if you start small and work from there. Also, if you wish to change to a new habit, make the new habit easier to achieve. I don't think that needs further explanation. LOL! Remember to reward yourself every step of the way so you'll be motivated to keep going.
It helps to track your progress and make adjustments or revisions along the way as it suits you better. If it's such a habit as quitting smoking, I think it's helpful to find a support system in your family or loved ones. They can really cheer you on and work as motivators so you'll be able to develop new habits instead. Lastly, carry on and keep going. If you're determined to change something, I'm sure you'll always find a way to do so. You can do it. I'm rooting for you.
