La Medicine Ball es una pelota de cuero en la que dentro tenemos telas y arena para rellenarla y cada una tiene pesos diferentes para cada atleta. Es utilizada para realizar ejercicios de potencia de brazos, ya que podemos lanzarla y lo bueno que tiene es que rebota un poco, no tanto como una pelota de Fútbol pero lo justo para que vuelva hacia nosotros.
Generalmente las encontramos en gimnasios donde se realizan Entrenamiento Funcional, porque trabaja muchos músculos a la vez y no aislados como en máquinas.
El beneficio de este es su rebote, haciendo que vuelva y poder realizar ejercicios como Wall Ball o Halo, que son ejercicios en donde lanzamos la pelota y luego la agarramos, trabajando además de nuestra Fuerza Potencia, la capacidad de coordinación y relación espacio-tiempo.
The Medicine Ball is a leather ball in which we have fabric and sand inside to fill it and each one has different weights for each athlete. It is used to perform arm power exercises, since we can throw it and the good thing about it is that it bounces a little, not as much as a soccer ball but just enough for it to come back towards us.
We generally find them in gyms where Functional Training is carried out, because it works many muscles at the same time and not isolated as in machines.
The benefit of this is its rebound, making it return and being able to perform exercises such as Wall Ball or Halo, which are exercises where we throw the ball and then catch it, working in addition to our Strength, Power, coordination capacity and space-time relationship. .
El método de entrenamiento es un AMRAP, en donde vamos a realizar la mayor cantidad de vueltas que podamos en un tiempo determinado. Permitiendo realizar el circuito en todos los niveles, tanto para principiantes como expertos. Y cada persona maneja sus pausas e intensidad.
En este caso hice un AMRAP de 8', contando 8 repeticiones de cada ejercicio, para poder hacer muchas vueltas y trabajar la parte CARDIO y las pausas incompletas.
The training method is an AMRAP, where we are going to do as many laps as we can in a given time. Allowing the circuit to be performed at all levels, both for beginners and experts. And each person manages their pauses and intensity.
In this case I did an 8' AMRAP, counting 8 repetitions of each exercise, to be able to do many laps and work on the CARDIO part and the incomplete pauses.
