¡Hola gente de Music! Hoy estoy contento de compartir un video que se grabó en vivo. Tuve la oportunidad de estar acompañando como pianista a un artista y amigo aquí en Bogotá. El es un músico independiente, llamado Luis Vega y ha estado promocionando su música por redes y esta vez en un concierto en vivo.

Les cuento un poco sobre cómo fue este evento y previo a el. Él me contactó para proponerme si podía tocar algunas canciones en piano porque haría un concierto en un teatro. Realmente yo conocía poco de su música, de hecho solo conocía una canción de el, ya que hace un par de años estuve participando en un videoclip de una canción.

Le dije que aceptaba participar y empecé en casa a estudiar los temas. Habían unos covers (como este) que tampoco conocía. Pero para mi fue buena esta experiencia, ya que eso me hace conocer otros estilos y tocarlos. Tuvimos 4 fines de semana para vernos y pulir los detalle con la banda completa. También fue bueno ya que todos los músicos que estábamos allí hemos estudiado y su experiencia es valiosa para el aprendizaje.

El día del evento, como buenos músicos independientes, tuvimos que realizar todo el montaje del escenario, el sonido, cuadrar que el sonido estuviera a la altura del teatro. Fue así, ya que los equipos que usamos eran de gran calidad. La experiencia de tocar en vivo siempre la disfruto, así sea acompañando a otros artistas. Trato de desfogar mucha energía y siempre me verán moviéndome, así la música sea más tranquila.

Si mal no recuerdo tocamos como 13 canciones, unas originales de Luis y un par de covers. Esta canción es del compositor colombiano llamado Andrés Cepeda. No estoy seguro que tan famoso sea el fuera del país, pero acá en colombia es un artista de mucho reconocimiento. De hecho es de los pocos músicos de música romántica que yo podría escuchar.

Esta canción “Lo Mejor Que Hay En Mi Vida" es una de sus más reconocidas; realmente fue fácil de tocar y conectar con el público que nos acompañó. Vi que todos se la sabían y cantaron con nosotros.

Como dije la experiencia de tocar en vivo es de lo mejor y fue muy grato estar en este concierto con Luis y los demás muchachos. Este video como ven es de buena calidad con diferentes tomas, ya que él lo quiere dar a conocer y promover para su crecimiento artístico. Espero que les guste esta canción y el video.

Hello Music community! Today I’m happy to share a video that was recorded live. I had the opportunity to play with an artist and friend here in Bogotá as a pianist. He is an independent musician, called Luis Vega, and has been promoting his music through networks and this time in a live concert.

But for me this experience was good, since it makes me learn other styles and play them. We had 4 weekends to see each other and get better with the full band. It was also good since all the musicians who were there have studied and their experience is valuable for learning.

On the day of the event, as good independent musicians, we had to carry out the entire set-up of the stage, the sound, make sure that the sound was up to the level of the theater. It was so, since the equipment we used was of great quality. I always enjoy the experience of playing live, even if it's playing with other artists. I try to release a lot of energy and you will always see me moving, even if the music is soft.

I'm not sure how famous he is outside the country, but here in Colombia he is a highly recognized artist. In fact, he is one of the few romantic music musicians that I could listen to.
