Hello! I’m happy to participate in this week’s theme. We’re starting the year with goals and motivation to achieve different things. Personally I want to get better in my music skills, get bigger in hive and personal goals.

But is not a New Year’s purpose, but something that I’ve been achieving through the past and I’m sure I’m in a good way to finish my goals.

This is an original song I wrote a couple of years ago. I have an indie rock/ post punk project called Münchhausen, is like a one man band and I write the music and lyrics. "Fragile Heart" is a song that talks about how we face the life, we sometimes say goodbye to people who we care, we had hopes and dreams but when we get older some of these dreams change or are forgotten.

But there is always someone who cares about us and take us by our hand and motivate us to keep going. That someone could be God, a friend, parents, whoever is on your side and help you to maintain that motivation.

I apologise I’m not the best singer, I haven’t practiced my vocal lessons, so that’s another goal to achieve haha, and be more skilled in the guitar too. But I wanted to make an acoustic version of my song exclusively for the Open Mic today. Any suggestions are received and thanks for listening!

¡Hola! Estoy feliz de participar en el tema de esta semana. Empezamos el año con metas y motivación para lograr cosas diferentes. Personalmente, quiero mejorar en mis habilidades musicales, crecer en colmena y metas personales. Pero no es un propósito de año nuevo, sino algo que he ido logrando en el pasado y estoy seguro de que voy por buen camino para terminar mis metas. Esta es una canción original que escribí hace un par de años.

Tengo un proyecto de indie rock/post punk llamado Münchhausen, es como proyecto en solitario y yo escribo la música junto las letras. "Fragile Heart" es una canción que habla de cómo enfrentamos la vida, a veces nos despedimos de las personas que nos importan, teníamos esperanzas y sueños pero cuando nos hacemos mayores algunos de estos sueños cambian o se olvidan. Pero siempre hay alguien que se preocupa por nosotros y nos toma de la mano y nos motiva a seguir adelante. Ese alguien puede ser Dios, un amigo, los padres, quien sea que esté de tu lado y te ayude a mantener esa motivación.

Me disculpo, no soy el mejor cantante, no he practicado mis lecciones de canto, así que ese es otro objetivo a lograr jaja, y ser más hábil con la guitarra también. Pero hoy quería hacer una versión acústica de mi canción exclusivamente para Open Mic. Cualquier sugerencia se recibe y gracias por escuchar!
