¡Hola! Hoy comparto un registro en video de nuestra sesión de estudio que tuvimos anoche. Anteriormente mencioné que pasamos una convocatoria para participar en un festival en Bogotá.

Como pasamos a la segunda ronda, teníamos que grabar en un estudio para enviar un par de canciones a un jurado que se encargara de elegir quienes son los ganadores para estar en sus festivales. Así que fuimos al estudio para grabar esos temas y de paso tener un poco más de material audiovisual para compartir.

Invité a un amigo que es fotógrafo y que de paso se proclamó el fotógrafo oficial de la banda, lo cual me gusta bastante, para grabar y tomar algunas fotos de esa sesión que tuvimos. Seguramente más adelante les compartiré el resultado de las fotos y los videos con el audio mezclado por el productor. De hecho este video fue un ensayo de sonido, ya que esta no es la canción que usamos para el concurso.

Es por ese motivo que mi voz estaba apagada, estaban haciendo la mezcla nada más de los instrumentos, pero aún así fue bueno grabar este instrumental de mi canción "Fragile Heart". Esta es una de mis favoritas de las que he escrito hasta ahora y me gusta la energía que transmite.

Esta fue la primera vez en la que grabamos en bloque y en un estudio, usualmente las grabaciones para las canciones que subo en las plataformas las he grabado en mi casa. Yo llevaba buen tiempo sin ir a un estudio, entonces también fue súper estar grabando allí. A pesar de los nervios de algunos de los chicos, siento que la sesión quedó bien y tenemos material para competir y por qué no ganar. Son experiencias que se adquieren y eso es lo que quiero seguir haciendo con mi música, a pesar de que siento que ya tengo buena trayectoria en la música. Todo esto son aprendizajes.

Hubo un par de errores, pero al momento de que vi este video, disfruté bastante de la canción y espero que los que la oyen también se dejen llevar por estas armonías y melodías. En unas semanas me entregarán el mix final así que seguro que también lo compartiré acá. De hecho este video es exclusivo para Hive.

Hello! Today I'm sharing a video record of our studio session we had last night. Previously I mentioned that we passed a call to participate in a festival in Bogota.

Since we made it to the second round, we had to record in a studio to send a couple of songs to a jury who are in charge of choosing the winners to be in their festivals. So we went to the studio to record those songs and have some more audiovisual material to share.

I invited a friend who is a photographer and who proclaimed himself the official photographer of the band, which I like a lot, to record and take some pictures of that session we had. I will surely share with you later the result of the photos and videos with the audio mixed by the producer. In fact this video was a soundcheck, as this is not the song we used for the contest.

That's why my voice was muted, they were just mixing the instruments, but it was still good to record this instrumental of my song "Fragile Heart". This is one of my favorites of the ones I've written so far and I like the energy it conveys.

This was the first time we recorded together in a studio, usually the recordings for the songs I upload on the platforms I've recorded at home. I hadn't been in a studio for a long time, so it was also cool to be recording there. Despite the nerves of some of the guys, I feel that the session went well and we have material to compete and why not to win. These are experiences that are acquired and that is what I want to continue doing with my music, even though I feel that I already have a good trajectory in music. All of this is learning.

There were a couple of mistakes, but when I saw this video, I really enjoyed the song and I hope that those who listen to it also get carried away by these harmonies and melodies. In a few weeks I'll get the final mix so I'm sure I'll share it here as well. In fact this video is exclusive for Hive.
