Tocando con grandes maestros de la música. Gerardo Azuaje

Por aquí estoy nuevamente trayendo mis anécdotas y experiencias musicales alrededor de Venezuela, que bendición el poder conocer y tocar con músicos de alto nivel, y aparte, con una personalidad de Oro, este es el caso del maestro Gerardo Azuaje quien es un Virtuoso del Cello y además, es una persona de gran corazón.

Lo conocí recientemente y la atmósfera musical que se sintió en el primer ensayo fue algo increíble, duramos tocando casi 6 horas tocando imagínense algo así! Y es que cuando amamos la música, podemos durar horas y horas ensayando o componiendo sin darnos cuenta.

La música cuando es hecha con amor y pasión, es lo más maravilloso que se puede experimentar, la música es la voz de Dios, y nosotros somos quienes traemos ese poder a través de nuestros instrumentos musicales.

Gracias a Dios, me encuentro la mayoría de las veces con músicos maravillosos que desean hacer música más por una necesidad espiritual que por otra cosa. Cuando hacemos las cosas por querer hacerlas bien, siempre nos irá bien en la vida.

Por ser una de las canciones más icónicas de la música francófona, la he tocado varias veces con otros Hivers (@zullyscott, @kococuatro), hoy nuevamente traigo esta melodía acompañando al Maestro.

Que interesante es tocar un mismo tema con varios artistas, porque te das cuenta que cada uno le pone su personalidad a la interpretación, soy una persona que defiende que cada quien debe hacer la música como su alma y su espíritu lo deseen, no estar copiando interpretaciones de otras personas, es ponerle nuestra huella a la música.

En esta oportunidad pasó lo mismo, la unión entre el maestro y yo le dio un toque único a la melodía.

Here I am again bringing my anecdotes and musical experiences around Venezuela, what a blessing to be able to meet and play with high level musicians, and besides, with a golden personality, this is the case of Maestro Gerardo Azuaje who is a Cello Virtuoso and besides, he is a person with a great heart.

I met him recently and the musical atmosphere that we felt in the first rehearsal was incredible, we played for almost 6 hours, imagine something like that! And the thing is that when we love music, we can last hours and hours rehearsing or composing without realizing it.

Music when made with love and passion, is the most wonderful thing you can experience, music is the voice of God, and we are the ones who bring that power through our musical instruments.

Thank God, most of the time I meet wonderful musicians who want to make music more out of a spiritual need than anything else. When we do things out of wanting to do them well, we will always do well in life.

For being one of the most iconic songs of French-speaking music, I have played it several times with other Hivers (@zullyscott, @kococuatro), today again I bring this melody accompanying the Maestro.

How interesting it is to play the same song with several artists, because you realize that each one puts his personality to the interpretation, I am a person who believes that everyone should make music as his soul and spirit want it, not to be copying other people's interpretations, is to put our mark on the music.

In this opportunity the same thing happened, the union between the master and I gave a unique touch to the melody.
