Continúo compartiendo experiencias musicales con Hive.

Tengo el agrado de poder trabajar en lugares y sitios que me gustan mucho, esto sin duda alguna es una bendición de Dios ya que pocas personas en el mundo pueden decir que trabajan de aquello que aman.

Claro no todo es color de Rosa, debo luchar por la supervivencia y traer el pan a la mesa, he tratado de mantener una balanza entre lo que amo hacer y lo que debo hacer para cubrir mis gastos.

No es fácil, pero uno de mis propósitos como ser humano es vivir plenamente de la música y para ello hay que estudiar y trabajar mucho, además, hay que ahorrar y ser una persona emprendedora!

Mi faceta como profesor de música y su importancia en la sociedad

Algunos ya sabrán que trabajo como Profesor de música, con ésta profesión me desempeño actualmente en 2 organismos educativos. La primera en una academia ubicada en Aragua, Venezuela llamada "Ciearts", es un lugar muy agradable ya que cuento con compañeros de trabajo increíbles y aparte mi "jefe" es más un líder y una excelente persona (Es mi profesor de Kung Fu).

Dar clases de música es una responsabilidad enorme, no solamente porque debes bueno en tu instrumento, sino porque también debes dar un ejemplo a tus estudiantes, vestirte bien, tener un lenguaje apropiado, proyectar una buena imagen.

Hay muchos profesores de música que no están conscientes de que son un Modelo a seguir para los niños y los jóvenes, y terminan adoptando conductas que son perjudiciales para el gremio. Desgraciadamente, muchos proyectan una mala imagen de la música, y por eso gran parte de la sociedad nos ve como unos Hippies, o unos vagos, sin embargo, hay muchos en el Gremio que luchamos por reivindicar la imagen de los músicos, sobretodo, los músicos tradicionales.

Tengo aproximadamente 4 años dando clases, y he aprendido mucho de mis estudiantes a lo largo de este tiempo, hay algunos que continúan conmigo y otros que no... Es normal, uno ésta momentáneamente en sus vidas.

Glorimar Sarmiento es como una hija para mí, tiene más de un año conmigo y he tratado en lo posible de aconsejarla y llevarla a sitios donde pueda desarrollarse como músico y artista, su interés por las clases y su creatividad son notables. Es una estudiante muy colaboradora y siempre está a la orden para cualquier presentación.

Además de tocar Guitarra, también Canta y toca Ukelele y Cuatro Venezolano, le pedí que me acompañara éste Vals Venezolano titulado Sombra en los Medanos

I continue to share musical experiences with Hive.

I have the pleasure of being able to work in places and places that I like very much, this is undoubtedly a blessing from God because few people in the world can say that they work in what they love.

Of course not everything is rosy, I must fight for survival and bring bread to the table, I have tried to keep a balance between what I love to do and what I must do to cover my expenses.

It is not easy, but one of my purposes as a human being is to live fully from music and for that you have to study and work hard, also, you have to save and be an enterprising person!

My facet as a music teacher and its importance in society

Some of you may already know that I work as a music teacher, with this profession I currently work in 2 educational organizations. The first one in an academy located in Aragua, Venezuela called "Ciearts", it is a very nice place because I have incredible coworkers and besides my "boss" is more of a leader and an excellent person (He is my Kung Fu teacher).

Teaching music is a huge responsibility, not only because you have to be good at your instrument, but also because you have to set an example to your students, dress well, have an appropriate language, project a good image.

There are many music teachers who are not aware that they are a Model to follow for children and young people, and end up adopting behaviors that are detrimental to the profession. Unfortunately, many project a bad image of music, and that is why a large part of society sees us as Hippies, or lazy, however, there are many in the Guild who fight to vindicate the image of musicians, above all, traditional musicians.

I have been teaching for about 4 years, and I have learned a lot from my students throughout this time, there are some who continue with me and others who do not.... It is normal, one is momentarily in their lives.

Glorimar Sarmiento is like a daughter to me, she has been with me for more than a year and I have tried as much as possible to advise her and take her to places where she can develop as a musician and artist, her interest in the classes and her creativity are remarkable. She is a very collaborative student and is always ready for any performance.

Besides playing guitar, she also sings and plays Ukelele and Venezuelan Cuatro, I asked her to accompany me with this Venezuelan Waltz titled "Sombra en los Medanos"
