It's a great pleasure to be here this week.
The Theme for this week is Breathe.

This Theme was chosen by our recent spotlight artists @mamab thanks for giving us such a beautiful Theme for this week. This theme really help me to express my feeling and makes me understand the different between the living creature and death one.

To take air into your lungs through your nose or mouth
For this week i will be performing a song by Dunsin Oyekan title Breathe

I look at the Theme for this week so i decided to bring this special song breathe. In my own opinion what i understand by breathe is to live, and without breathe there is no life. Let take a look on this bible verse.

Genesis 2:7

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

This Theme makes me remember when my father died a few couples of months ago. I look at him laying on the floor, i touch him I notice he could not breathe anymore at first i thought I was dreaming until I saw friend family coming to comfort me where i was crying telling me sorry for the lost. Then i realized it wasn't a dream. I wept in front of his coffin

It was absolutely devastating to me and I couldn't think of anything else, just that he was gone. I would wake up and the first thought I had was "my father is dead". I couldn't take pleasure in anything and I thought, for the first time, how short life is, how pointless it can seem.

I also thought of all the bad things I had done and said, things that had hurt him or upset him. I told him I was sorry, in my head. I also asked him all the things I never got around to when he was alive.

But you know, every night before I go to sleep I still tell him goodnight. Whenever something good or bad happens, and sometimes i do get myself drunk, to me I still let him know and I often let him know that I haven't forgotten him, that I'll always remember him.

Have heard about someone's dad or mom passing away so many times but never ever imagined it will happen to me. Well such is life no matter what life throws at you life goes on.

Este tema fue elegido por nuestros recientes artistas destacados @mamab, gracias por brindarnos un tema tan hermoso para esta semana. Este tema realmente me ayuda a expresar mis sentimientos y me hace comprender la diferencia entre el ser vivo y el de la muerte.

Para esta semana estaré interpretando una canción de Dunsin Oyekan titulada Breathe

Miro el tema de esta semana, así que decidí darle aliento a esta canción especial. En mi opinión lo que entiendo por respirar es vivir, y sin respirar no hay vida. Echemos un vistazo a este versículo de la Biblia.

Este Tema me hace recordar cuando mi padre murió hace un par de meses. Lo miro tirado en el suelo, lo toco y noto que ya no podía respirar. Al principio pensé que estaba soñando hasta que vi a un amigo y familiar que venía a consolarme, donde estaba llorando pidiéndome perdón por los perdidos. Entonces me di cuenta de que no era un sueño. Lloré frente a su ataúd

Fue absolutamente devastador para mí y no podía pensar en nada más, sólo en que él se había ido. Me despertaba y el primer pensamiento que tenía era "mi padre está muerto". No podía disfrutar de nada y pensé, por primera vez, en lo corta que es la vida, en lo inútil que puede parecer.

También pensé en todas las cosas malas que había hecho y dicho, cosas que lo habían lastimado o molestado. Le dije que lo sentía, en mi cabeza. También le pregunté todas las cosas que nunca hice cuando él estaba vivo.

Pero ya sabes, todas las noches antes de irme a dormir todavía le digo buenas noches. Cada vez que pasa algo bueno o malo, y a veces me emborracho, todavía le hago saber y a menudo le hago saber que no lo he olvidado, que siempre lo recordaré.

He oído hablar muchas veces del fallecimiento del padre o la madre de alguien, pero nunca imaginé que me pasaría a mí. Bueno, así es la vida, no importa lo que te depare la vida, la vida continúa.
