Hi dear musical community! Here I am once again another week to participate in this great dynamic. This week the theme we had to work with was Folk and Symphonic metal, however I'm not that connect with this kind of genre. But since I want to participate this week, I chose one song that even when it is not metal, it is an indie rock that as metal makes heavy topics. This one I guess talk about something hard and even the original musical video is hard to see.

I chose Take me to Church by Hozier, which is a claim to the catholic church in a figurative way more specifically for its posture about homosexuality. In the official video, we can see how people abuse violentaly of a man because of his homosexuality. it is really hard to see because it evidenced how difficult could be the life of someone that feels different from majority.

I really love this song, it moves every fiber of my body! the rhythm and the nostalgic sound of the instruments take our souls to feel the sadness in this loud claim for acceptance. The first time I listened it I felt it in all my bones 'cause Hozier voice is full of nostalgic notes.

Hola querida comunidad musical! Aquí estoy una vez más una semana más para participar en esta gran dinámica. Esta semana el tema que nos tocó trabajar fue Folk y Metal Sinfónico, sin embargo no soy muy conectado con este tipo de género. Pero como quiero participar esta semana, elegí una canción que aunque no sea metal, es un indie rock que como metal hace temas pesados. Éste supongo que habla de algo difícil e incluso el video musical original es difícil de ver.

Elegí Llévame a la iglesia de Hozier, que es un reclamo a la iglesia católica de manera figurada más específicamente por su postura ante la homosexualidad. En el vídeo oficial podemos ver cómo la gente abusa violentamente de un hombre a causa de su homosexualidad. Es realmente difícil de ver porque evidencia lo difícil que puede ser la vida de alguien que se siente diferente a la mayoría.

Realmente amo esta canción, ¡mueve cada fibra de mi cuerpo! el ritmo y el sonido nostálgico de los instrumentos llevan a nuestras almas a sentir la tristeza en este fuerte reclamo de aceptación. La primera vez que lo escuché lo sentí en todos mis huesos porque la voz de Hozier está llena de notas nostálgicas.
