La Saga de Megaman X es esa clase de juegos retro que muchos conocen, han visto, incluso han jugado, pero pocos han logrado pasar hasta el final. Tengo muchos conocidos que les ha pasado, que también lo han jugado o lo conocen pero no saben cuales son los niveles finales.

Yo me di la tarea de pasar los niveles finales de la entrega de Megaman X4. En un video anterior les compartí la primera parte:

Hoy les comparto la segunda parte de estos niveles finales, la final final, la última, donde sigma muere, bueno casi, porque como dije es el Palpatine de esta saga, se niega a morir...

Tal como sucede en todas las entregas de Megaman X (al menos las que he jugado), al llegar a la última parte de este nivel final, nos encontramos con una serie de portales que nos llevaran a distintos escenarios en donde nos enfrentaremos a los jefes finales que ya habíamos derrotado anteriormente.

Uno podría pensar que es algo difícil derrotar a estos jefes en un único nivel, pero si lo piensas bien no lo es tanto. En los niveles anteriores uno perdía vida y moría era por el propio nivel en sí, no tanto por el jefe final. Que sí, hay jefes que son desafiantes, pero hay unos que son muy fáciles de vencer, sobre todo si se cuenta con el tipo de arma que le debilita, como el caso del fuego contra un jefe de hielo.

Cabe destacar, que tras derrotar ano de estos jefes, en este nivel final, tenemos capsulas de poder y vida para recuperar lo perdido, lo cual nos ayuda a continuar la labor de derrotar a todos estos jefes.

Una vez derrotados, se habilitará la capsula dorada que nos llevará al último escenario donde nos encontraremos con el jefe final.

Uno puede pensar que en este escenario, en efecto, lucharemos contra un único enemigo y ya, terminaremos el juego, pero no, luchamos contra 7 enemigos, sí, 7 enemigos más.

A cada uno los llamo de formas distintas, pero todos son prácticamente lo mismo.

#1 Sigma Fantasma

Este es el primer modo de Sigma que nos encontramos. Aparece en esta forma con una guadaña con la que intentará atacarnos. También usa esferas de energía para hacernos daño. La manera más fácil de derrotarlo es con el Rising Fire.

#2 Sigma Guerrero

Después de derrotar al Sigma anterior, aparecerá este Sigma guerrero, con la misma Guadaña, pero con ataques mucho más mortales.

Hay diversas formas de matarlo, pero la más fácil es saltando a las paredes, dejar que lance su guadaña ahí, se quede clavada en la pared y luego atacarlo.

#3 Sigma Volador

Cuando derrotamos al Sigma Guerrero no terminado todo, no, aparecen 4 enemigos más que derrotaremos progresivamente. Este Sigma Volador es uno de esos. Es un robot que solamente usará un cañon para dispararnos de dos formas. Debemos esquivarlo o nos quitará mucha vida. Su único punto débil es la cabeza.

#4 Cabeza Robótica Azul

Mientras luchamos con el Sigma volador, también aparecerán 3 cabezas robóticas de diferentes elementos. La cabeza azul ataca con una nube de hielo que nos quitará vida.

#5 Cabeza Robótica Fuego

La cabeza roja atacará con 4 rafagas de fuego que también nos hacen mucho daño. La manera de evadirlas es saltando a las paredes para evitar sus golpes.

#6 Cabeza Robótica Amarilla

Esta cabeza puede ser la más molesta cuando ataca, porque lanza rápidas esferas de energía que se convierte en rayos. Lo peor es que las lanza hacia la dirección en la que estamos, lo que vuelve más difícil la labor de esquivarlas.

#7 Sigma Aspiradora

El Sigma Aspiradora, como yo lo llamo, es otro enemigo con el que luchamos de manera simultánea al Sigma Volador y las 3 Cabezas Robóticas. Como dije estos últimos 4 enemigos son con los que lucharemos, al mismo tiempo, en la final final.

Si logramos derrotarlos a todos, habremos triunfado...

Uno podría pensar que ganó, pero el juego nos da un último susto, pues casi al finalizar el juego hay otro escenario al que debemos ir y nos encontramos nada más y nada menos que con el General.

Recuerdo que la primera vez que llegué a este punto me asusté, porque tenía poca vida y había agotado todos mis tanques de vida, así que con dos o 3 ataques más habría sido eliminado; sin embargo, no había nada de qué preocuparse, el general solo estaba ahí para ayudarnos a destruir la base, sacrificando su propia vida...

Con este último sacrificio la base es destruida y todos los enemigos eliminados. De esta manera termina el juego. Hay una cinemática para el final, donde X está escapando en un jet de la base donde luchó contra Sigma. En el vehículo se enciende una pantalla donde está Zero. y le pregunta qué pasaría si él se convierte en un Maverick. Zero, tan frío como siempre, le dice que no diga tonterias y vuelva a la base...

Esto es un presagio de lo que sucederá en Megaman X5, otra entrega que planeo jugar más adelante...

As it happens in all Megaman X installments (at least the ones I've played), when we reach the last part of this final level, we find a series of portals that will take us to different scenarios where we will face the final bosses that we had already defeated previously.

One might think that it is somewhat difficult to defeat these bosses in a single level, but if you think about it, it is not so difficult. In the previous levels one lost life and died was because of the level itself, not so much because of the final boss. Yes, there are bosses that are challenging, but there are some that are very easy to defeat, especially if you have the type of weapon that weakens them, such as fire against an ice boss.

It should be noted that after defeating one of these bosses, in this final level, we have power and life capsules to recover what we lost, which helps us to continue the work of defeating all these bosses.

Once defeated, the golden capsule will be enabled, which will take us to the last stage where we will meet the final boss.

One may think that in this scenario, in effect, we will fight a single enemy and that's it, we will finish the game, but no, we fight 7 enemies, yes, 7 more enemies.

I call each one by different names, but they are all pretty much the same.

#1 Sigma Ghost

This is the first Sigma mode we encounter. He appears in this form with a scythe with which he will try to attack us. He also uses energy spheres to hurt us. The easiest way to defeat him is with the Rising Fire.

#2 Sigma Warrior

After defeating the previous Sigma, this Sigma Warrior will appear, with the same Scythe, but with much more deadly attacks.

There are several ways to kill him, but the easiest is to jump to the walls, let him throw his scythe there, get stuck in the wall and then attack him.

#3 Flying Sigma

When we defeat the Sigma Warrior, not everything is over, no, 4 more enemies appear that we will defeat progressively. This Flying Sigma is one of them. It is a robot that will only use a cannon to shoot us in two ways. We must dodge it or it will take a lot of life. Its only weak point is its head.

#4 Blue Robotic Head

While fighting with the flying Sigma, 3 robotic heads of different elements will also appear. The blue head attacks with a cloud of ice that will take life from us.

#5 Fire Robotic Head

The red head will attack with 4 fire blasts that also do a lot of damage. The way to evade them is to jump on the walls to avoid their blows.

#6 Yellow Robot Head

This head can be the most annoying when it attacks, because it launches fast spheres of energy that turns into lightning. The worst thing is that it throws them towards the direction we are facing, which makes it more difficult to dodge them.

#7 Sigma Vacuum Cleaner

The Sigma Vacuum Cleaner, as I call it, is another enemy that we fight simultaneously with the Flying Sigma and the 3 Robotic Heads. As I said these last 4 enemies are the ones we will fight, at the same time, in the final finale.

If we manage to defeat them all, we will have triumphed....

One might think that he won, but the game gives us one last scare, because almost at the end of the game there is another stage to which we must go and we find nothing more and nothing less than the General.

I remember the first time I got to this point I was scared, because I was low on life and had exhausted all my life tanks, so with two or 3 more attacks I would have been eliminated; however, there was nothing to worry about, the general was only there to help us destroy the base, sacrificing his own life....

With this last sacrifice the base is destroyed and all enemies eliminated. This is how the game ends. There is a cinematic for the ending, where X is escaping in a jet from the base where he fought Sigma. In the vehicle a screen lights up where Zero is. and asks him what would happen if he becomes a Maverick. Zero, as cold as ever, tells him to cut the crap and go back to the base....

This is a foreshadowing of what will happen in Megaman X5, another game I plan to play later...
