Angel Falls Acrylic Painting on Banknote [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are all well, I want to share with you a painting I made about one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world, it is Angel Falls, located in Venezuela, it is the largest waterfall in the world. . Continuing with my series of paintings about Venezuelan culture through banknotes, I have made this landscape using a couple of banknotes as canvases and acrylic paint, in a couple of days I will send my work to be framed and later it will go to the museum, I hope everything goes well. Hola amigos, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, quiero compartir con ustedes una pintura que hice acerca de uno de los paisajes naturales más hermosos del mundo, se trata del Salto Angel, ubicado en Venezuela, es la caída de agua más grande del mundo. Continuando con mi serie de pinturas acerca de la cultura venezolana a través de los billetes, he realizado este paisaje utilizando un par de billetes como lienzos y pintura acrílica, dentro de un par de días enviaré mi trabajo para ser enmarcado y posteriormente irá al museo, espero que todo vaya muy bien. This time I used bills with a somewhat gray and blue tone, I think that for the purpose of painting a natural environment it would be very useful, on this occasion I went straight to the bill without doing any previous sketch. I first used a mixture of gray colors for the rocks of the great mountain, to which I will later add more tones and colors to highlight the relief of this majestic place.

Esta vez utilicé billetes con una tonalidad algo gris y azul, creo que para el propósito de pintar un ambiente natural me serviría muchísima, en esta oportunidad fui directo al billete sin hacer ninguna clase se boceto anterior. Utilicé en primer una mezcla de colores grises para las rocas de la gran montaña, a la cual luego iré agregando más tonos y colores para resaltar el relieve de este majestuoso lugar.

After the first layer, which would be a base, I add the other tones to achieve verisimilitude in the rocks, these have an ocher color similar to brick, so I use warm tones like yellow and orange mixed with white to work with various tones and add them. with a fine brush.

Después de la primera capa, que sería una base, agrego los demás tonos para lograr verosimilitud en las rocas, estas tienen una coloración ocre semejante al ladrillo, así que utilizo tonos cálidos como amarillo y naranja mezclados con blancos para trabajar varios tonos e irlos agregando con un pincel fino.

Next I continue with the lower area of ​​the landscape, where you can see a cluster of clouds and also the vegetation. I paint the clouds with white, but so that they are not completely white, I add a few drops of dark blue and black, this helps me give a slight tone to the clouds. Finally I paint all the vegetation of the trees, placing special emphasis on the lights and shadows to achieve volume.

Seguidamente continúo con la zona inferior del paisaje, donde puede apreciarse un cúmulo de nubes y también la vegetación. Las nubes las pinto con blanco, pero para que no queden completamente de color blanco, agrego unas gotas de color azul oscuro y negro, esto me ayuda darle una leve tonalidad a las nubes. Por último pinto toda la vegetación de los árboles, haciendo especial énfasis entre las luces y sombras para lograr volumen.

This is how my work was finished, this time I used two bills joined by adhesive tape so that the landscape was a little more extensive, I had a lot of fun making this painting, plus I did not use a sketch, I think it is best to force the mind to go directly to the paint without using a previous model. Así quedó finalizado mi trabajo, esta vez usé dos billetes unidos por cinta adhesiva para que el paisaje me quedara un poco más extenso, me divertí mucho haciendo esta pintura, además de que no utilicé boceto, creo que es lo mejor obligar a la mente ir directamente a la pintura sin utilizar un modelo previo.
