Hello friends of Hive and this great community of Collectors that week by week we brings relics that we have kept over the years with us and that mark key moments of our lives that later become memories, as each object has a great emotional connotation for each one and makes us travel in time in a matter of seconds.

At first hand, collectors are carried away by the sense of sight; everything we collect is usually visually attractive, but also at the auditory and kinesthetic level generate a strong connection, so today we will continue with the second part of my collection of CDs that for me are a treasure that I have been able to keep for years and that have determined important stages of my life.

For this part, you will notice a big change with respect to part 1 and that is that we will enter much more fully into 2 musical genres that have impacted my life with force... rock and metal. So Collectors friends, join me on this journey that is an essential part of me because music is life 🙏❤️

Hola amigos de Hive y de esta gran comunidad de Collectors que semana a semana traemos reliquias que hemos mantenido a lo largo de los años con nosotros y que marcan momentos claves de nuestras vidas que posteriormente se convierten en memorias, ya que cada objeto tiene una gran connotación emocional para cada uno y nos hace viajar en el tiempo en cuestiones de segundos.

De primera mano los coleccionistas nos dejamos llevar por el sentido de la vista; todo lo que vamos recopilando suele ser atractivo visualmente, pero también a nivel auditivo y kinestésico generan una fuerte conexión, por ello hoy continuaremos con la segunda parte de mi colección de Cds que para mi son un tesoro que he podido conservar durante años y que han determinado etapas importantes de mi vida.

Para esta entrega notarán un cambio grande con respecto a la parte 1 y es que entraremos mucho más de lleno en 2 géneros musicales que han impactado mi vida con fuerza.. el rock y el metal. Así que amigas y amigos Collectors, acompáñenme en este viaje que es una parte esencial de mi porque la música es vida 🙏❤️

As I mentioned last time, I like electronic music, what I didn't tell you is that I had a lot of that music on cassettes that I no longer have, however as far as CDs are concerned, I have some very good records like the one by Tiesto that you can see in the picture. When I got into the world of rock and metal, I met many bands, but one that aroused my curiosity even more was Linkin Park. Here you can see their main albums, where they made good metal, because after the album Minutes to Midnight, they decided to enter a more experimental wave which I did not enjoy very much. The album Meteora is one of my relics since it traveled from Europe to reach my hands in the 1st week of its release. The last album on the bottom right is great; this band was at the top when they released this album, but years later their vocalist was immersed in very serious crimes which led to the end of their career. Next I will leave you 3 very good videos of the artists I mention in this paragraph:

Como les mencioné la vez pasada, la música electrónica me gusta, lo que no les dije es que mucha de esa música la tenía en casetes que ya no conservo, sin embargo en cuanto a CDs se refiere, tengo algunos discos muy buenos como el de Tiesto que pueden apreciar en la foto. Cuando me adentré en el mundo del rock y el metal, conocí muchas bandas, pero una que despertó más aún mi curiosidad fue Linkin Park. Aquí pueden observar sus discos principales, donde hacían buen metal, ya que después del disco Minutes to Midnight, decidieron entrar en una onda más experimental la cual no disfruté mucho. El disco Meteora es una de mis reliquias ya que viajó desde Europa para llegar a mis manos en la 1era semana de su lanzamiento. El último disco que aparece en la parte inferior derecha es grandioso; esta banda estaba en la cima cuando sacó este disco, pero años más tarde su vocalista estuvo inmerso en delitos muy graves lo que llevó al final la carrera de estos músicos. A continuación les dejaré 3 videos muy buenos de los artistas que menciono en este párrafo:

The thrill of buying CDs is very cool, as well as those who collect vinyl; when I bought Limp Bizkit's album "Significant Other" my mind was able to better understand the performance of an electric guitar in a band, so much so that the guitarist of this group, Wes Borland, was a great inspiration for my first steps in the instrument. The art of the album is one of my favorites since it was a graffiti that the same guitarist did for the cover, the video of its realization is included in the album. On the other hand the rest of the albums in the picture are amazing, so I'll leave you 3 singles of some of my favorites below:

La emoción de comprar Cds es muy genial, al igual que la de quienes coleccionan vinilos; cuando compré el disco de Limp Bizkit "Significant Other" mi mente logró entender mejor el desempeño de una guitarra eléctrica dentro de una banda, tanto así que el guitarrista de esta agrupación, Wes Borland, fue una gran inspiración para mis primeros pasos en el instrumento. El arte del disco es de mis favoritos ya que fue un grafiti que el mismo guitarrista hizo para la portada, el video de su realización viene incluido en el disco. Por otro lado el resto de albums de la foto son increíbles, así que les dejaré 3 sencillos de algunos de mis favoritos a continuación:

Here we enter a more mysterious, enigmatic and noisy environment; each of these bands have an amazing sound, where more instruments enter the scene at the production level. Several of these albums are imported because by the time they came out it was difficult to get them in my country, but one that I did get and that surprised me a lot for that reason, was Coheed and Cambria, a masterpiece of metal from start to finish. Another album that was rare to see in my country was Godhead, but I was fortunate enough to get it in a record store specialized in rock and metal at that time. These 3 videos that you will see below marked me totally for their quality and sound, I hope you enjoy them:

Aquí ya entramos en un ambiente más misterioso, enigmático y ruidoso; cada una de estas bandas tienen un sonido asombroso, en donde además entran en escena más instrumentos a nivel de producción. Varios de estos discos son importados ya que para el momento en que salieron era difícil conseguirlos en mi país, pero uno que si conseguí y que me sorprendió muchísimo por eso mismo, fue el de Coheed and Cambria, una obra maestra del metal de inicio a fin. Otro de los discos que era raro ver en mi país era el de Godhead, pero conté con la fortuna de conseguirlo en una discotienda especializada en rock y metal en aquella ocasión. Estos 3 videos que verán a continuación me marcaron totalmente por su calidad y sonido, espero que los disfruten:

Finally we get to where love and hate come together and materialize in these albums; here we find from delicate to musically aggressive textures. From the gothic metal of H.I.M and the industrial metal of Rammstein, to the Numetal of Korn, Papa Roach and Adema, we have a characteristic sound of rock and metal of the early 2000's as well as in their lyrics, whose content is already for a more mature and adult audience. Of this batch of albums, the only one imported was Adema's, since the access to the rest of the albums was easier due to the fame of the bands, taking into account the amount of music distributors they have in the continent. I will not emphasize on such heavy sounds, so I will leave these 3 singles of these 3 great bands:

Finalmente llegamos adonde el amor y el odio se conjugan y se materializan en estos discos; aquí encontramos desde texturas delicadas, hasta agresivas musicalmente hablando. Desde el metal gótico de H.I.M y el metal industrial de Rammstein, hasta el Numetal de Korn, Papa Roach y Adema, tenemos un sonido característico del rock y del metal de inicios del año 2000 al igual que en sus letras, cuyo contenido ya es para un público más maduro y adulto. De este lote de discos, el único importado fue el de Adema ya que el acceso al resto fue más fácil por la fama de las bandas, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de distribuidoras de música con las que cuentan en el continente. No enfatizaré en sonidos tan pesados, así que dejaré estos 3 sencillos de estas 3 grandes bandas:

Collectors, thank you so much for making it to the end of the video and the post; those who have known me for the music I have shared in Hive since I started my adventure, now you will know more about my musical tastes and will understand why most of the covers I do on guitar have that distortion sound, while on the other hand, perhaps those who barely know me, will not believe possible that a psychologist listen and enjoy this music 😅, but believe me, it is something that fills my life roundly without falling into fanaticism or particular lifestyles of course, and that is why I share it healthily with all of you. Collectors, muchísimas gracias por llegar al final del video y del post; quienes me han conocido por la música que he compartido en Hive desde que inicié mi aventura, ahora conocerán más de mis gustos musicales y entenderán el por qué la mayoría de covers que hago en la guitarra tienen ese sonido de distorsión, mientras que por otro lado quizás los que apenas me conocen, no creerán posible que un psicólogo escuche y disfrute de esta música 😅, pero créanme, es algo que llena mi vida rotundamente sin caer en fanatismos o estilos de vidas particulares claro está, y es por ello que la comparto sanamente con todos ustedes.
