    About :

I welcome you all to another beautiful edition of Creative Sunday, today I will be showing us the method I used in preparing fried rice.

    LISTS OF INGREDIENTS
    Rice
    Fried rice seasoning
    Knorr cubes
    Carrot
    Green peas
    Kidney beans
    Green beans
    Sweet corn
    Salt
    Broth (optional)
    Green pepper
    Red pepper
    Butter (simas)

STEP 1:- The first step which I love to do overnight is to prep my veggies, we all know that carrot takes time before we clean them and scrape the back, so I do that a night before using it and keep it in my fridge, so clean your carrot and scrape the back so that you will enjoy your fried rice perfectly, there will not be any traces of sand in it.

STEP 2:- Wash the remaining veggies and dice them to your preferred shapes, this depends on how you want your veggies to look.

STEP 3:- Open your sweet corn drain the water used to preserve it and rinse, do the same with the kidney beans just pour water on them so that the preservative can wash away.

Do all these processes and set them aside.

THE NEXT PHASE IS MOVING TO OUR COOKING.

STEP 1:- I transferred my broth into a bigger pot because I am cooking for a lot of people, and then I added Cameroon pepper into the broth, I love my fried rice to be a little spicy, then added a small quantity of water to the broth, fried rice must not look soggy, it must look sharp and well grain.

STEP 2:- I allow the water to boil very well and I taste for salt and seasoning if there is a need for adjustment since I am cooking for a lot of people I add two extra cubes of knorr chicken flavor and salt so I cover to boil and I added my rice into it, after adding the rice, I used my silicone spoon, not an iron spoon, to mix it to avoid burning before cooking.

STEP 3:- I will leave it to cook for some minutes, if you parboil your rice before cooking it will not take long to cook, just know the amount of water to put in. I only washed the rice with salt and warm water to reduce excess starch from it.

THE NEXT PHASE IS FRYING OF OUR VEGGIES/RICE

STEP 1:- In your frying pan add your vegetable oil and start by frying the liver you are using, I fried it for a minute then drained it in my sieve, before adding the green peas, green pepper, and green beans together, while frying I added a cube of seasoning just to give it a lovely taste and I fry for a minute, I do not want my veggies to be too soft, I want it crunchy, So I do not leave it to fry for long. I remove it from the frying pan and then drain it inside my sieve to avoid excess oil from it, I apply the same process to the carrot as well as the red bell pepper.

STEP 2:- In my frying pan I add a little simas butter, then add my rice bit by bit, allowing it to fry before adding my veggies to it and frying altogether, meanwhile I did not use vegetable oil to fry the rice, I use only butter and mix with the remaining oil on the veggies to fry the rice, too much of oil is not healthy, so I do avoid it if not necessary. That is what I will do for the remaining rice until it is finished, this method can stay for a long in your refrigerator and it always looks so good.
