Bienvenidos a todos a una nueva reseña de animes al estilo de Buhito aunque en este caso no es una entrevista, sino que le hice un formato diferente porque Buhito no quedo muy satisfecho con el anime que traigo el día de hoy y se rehusó a que le haga una entrevista, por ende, solo dio su opinión.

Happy Sugar Life follows the life of a beautiful and kind teenage girl who makes everyone who sees her fall in love with her. Her name is Sato and she has never turned down a boy (or girl) who has declared his love or invited her to spend some time of pleasure.

She seems charming and very nice, it is normal to be fascinated with her, but behind that beautiful and friendly face, hides a twisted personality and a dark secret.

Happy Sugar Life sigue la vida de una hermosa y amable adolescente que enamora a todo el que la ve. Su nombre es Sato y jamás ha rechazado a un chico (ni chica) que le haya declarado su amor o la haya invitado a pasar un rato de placer.

Parece encantadora y muy simpática, es normal quedar fascinados con ella, pero detrás de ese hermoso y amigable rostro, se esconde una retorcida personalidad y un oscuro secreto.

We see a design and a friendly and tender environment, but it is nothing like it seems and from the first chapter makes it clear that this anime will not have anything tender. Obsessions, murders, kidnapping, child abuse, all the elements that a terrifying story can have, nothing far from reality and I must admit that this aspect if they knew how to do it very well.

Vemos un diseño y un ambiente amigable y tierno, pero no es nada de lo que parece y ya desde el primer capítulo nos deja en claro que este anime no tendrá nada de tierno. Obsesiones, asesinatos, secuestro, maltrato infantil, todos los elementos que una historia aterradora pueda tener, nada alejado de la realidad y debo reconocer que este aspecto si lo supieron hacer muy bien.

The plot is interesting, I would recommend it for the fact that it is psychological horror handled in a decent way, but it makes me uncomfortable to see romantic scenes involving children, although Sato treats Shio like a queen and not to mention that the other characters that appear are as disturbed as Sato (except for two of them that I will not mention because it would be a super spoiler, for them I watched it until the end and again the plot twist left me speechless).

The animation is well done, I like how they manage to convey that mental disorder that Sato has through her different expressions, from tender to murderous.

La trama es interesante, la recomendaría por el hecho de que es terror psicológico manejado de forma decente, pero me incomoda ver escenas románticas que involucran a niños, aunque Sato trata a Shio como a una reina y ni hablar que los demás personajes que van apareciendo están tan perturbados como Sato (salvo dos de ellos que no los mencionare porque sería un super spoiler, por ellos lo vi hasta el final y nuevamente el giro de trama me dejo boquiabierta).

La animación está bien hecha, me gusta como logran transmitir ese desorden mental que tiene Sato a través de sus diferentes expresiones, de tierna a asesina.

Anyway, if you like this kind of stories I recommend it, in a way it shows the twisted side of human beings, what they are capable of doing to keep a secret safe, but Buhito thought it would be time to talk about an anime that did not convince him at all and made him uncomfortable in some scenes. If you've seen it, I'd love to know your opinion.

En fin, si te gusta este tipo de historias te lo recomiendo, de cierta forma muestra el lado retorcido de los seres humanos, de lo que son capaces de hacer con tal de mantener un secreto a salvo, pero Buhito creyó que sería tiempo de hablar de un anime que no lo convenció del todo y lo incomodo en algunas escenas.
