Barðastrandarsandur beach in the Westfjords region of Iceland is another one of the countless beaches of this beautiful country. I mean, what else can you expect from an island country than to have countless beaches.

This beach looks like something out of a science fiction story. It is as if you are floating neither in the sky nor on the earth. For hundreds of meters around you there is only sand, the distant roar of the waves and complete peace.
