Today I will introduce you to Bangladesh which is called a riverine country. Bangladesh is located in Asia, more specifically, it is located in South east Asia. India, Nepal and Myanmar are among the neighboring countries. There are good reasons to call Bangladesh a riverine country. More than four hundred active rivers are currently flowing over this country. The rivers are very beautiful to watch.

Not only are these rivers beautiful to look at, they are also very useful to humans. People on both sides of the river make their living from here. Fishermen catch fish from the river, sell it in the market and make money. And many products are transported from one place to another using rivers at very low costs.
