Earlier, I had written some blogs about different food recipes. Today I will show you how to make a popular and traditional recipe. Yes, it is locally called as Gurer Shondesh. For better understanding, you can call it Shondesh made from jaggery and processed milk.
For this recipe, you will be required below materials.
Sana(made from one litre of milk)
Jaggery
Salt
Ghee
So let's start cooking. First you need to take a cup of jaggery and put it in a container with enough water. Then you have to heat it until it mixes with water. Now, you will add the Sana with the boiled jaggery and mix it well. Then you need to add small amount of salt and one tea spoon of ghee with it for better taste.
Gurer Sanar Shondesh cooking process is almost completed. Now you need to take a tray, spread small amount of ghee on the upper surface of tray and spread the processed Sana on it.
Now, you have to put this tray in the refrigerator for 12 hours. This step is very important for tasty Shondesh. Here’s the picture of Shondesh after 12 hours. You can now present it in front of your guests.
