    Time to do something with yourself 💪

    I was feeling good after leaving the gym the other morning. So much so that I was inspired to make a video talking about how important it is to not let your body become stagnant.

    I'm nearing the two-year mark of my current fitness journey. I've been consistently doing strength training at the gym since September 2021. There has only been a couple of times when I was sick that I had to take a brief pause. Otherwise, I do my best to remain active. If I don't, my body practically screams at me to start doing something.

    We have these fancy human bodies so that we can make use of them. This also means we are responsible for upkeep. I find that when I don't have a physical activity included in my day, my body just doesn't feel very well. I'll begin to ache and old injuries will resurface. Whereas when I am spending at least an hour or two daily working up a sweat, I never seem to be in pain. I'm a firm believer that most pain is temporary and ultimately it is up to us to resolve any issues we may be having.

    Don't let the thumbnail fool you, I'm not talking shit the whole video. Quite the opposite actually. I just like to say outlandish shit and be funny. I try to always push a positive message, but who says you can't do that with a little bit of humor added in?

    Enjoy the vid and hopefully, you gain something from it. Perhaps some motivation to start your own fitness journey. Believe me when I say that you will be happy that you did. There is no fair comparison between the lazy me and the active me. Active me will win the battle every time.
