What's up, Hivers. In this week that has been full of reggae, it is impossible not to cover “Los Cafres”, an Argentine reggae band, which has more than thirty years of artistic career taking music to another level. At first it was said that they had a very unstable configuration, in addition to that certain situations, led them to be eradicated in other countries and it is in 1992 that they meet again and a solid formation begins to grow and play in festivals, unfortunately at the end of the 80's not having a place to play led them to give themselves that pause time.

Reggae has been very well represented by all the bands that I have spoken about this week and for me, the Kaffirs represent one of those bands that are pioneers of the genre in Latin America, making them known in the reggae music scene in Spanish. Live, they are one of those bands that do not disappoint since they have an impeccable performance, I had the opportunity to listen to them live in the city of Caracas and they really are one of those bands that enrich the ears with their sound quality.

Que tal, Hivers. En esta semana que ha estado llena de reggae es imposible no hacer un cover de “Los Cafres” una banda Argentina de reggae, que tiene más de treinta años de carrera artística llevando la música a otro nivel. Al principio se decía que tenían una configuración muy inestable, además de eso ciertas situaciones, los llevaron a erradicarse en otros países y es en 1992 que se reúnen nuevamente y comienza una sólida formación para ir creciendo y tocando en festivales, lastimosamente a finales de los 80´s el no tener donde tocar los llevo a darse ese tiempo de pausa. El reggae se ha visto muy bien representado por todas las bandas de las cuales he hablado esta semana y para mí, los cafres representa una de esas bandas que son pioneras del género en Latinoamérica dando a conocer en la movida musical del reggae en español. En vivo, son de esas bandas que no decepcionan ya que poseen una performance impecable, tuve la oportunidad de escucharlos en vivo en la ciudad de Caracas y realmente son de esas bandas que enriquecen los oídos con su calidad sonora.

"Casi que me pierdo" is one of the singles from his album "un paso gigante" and boy was it a giant step since this album had an almost immediate success to be released, this which was his twelfth studio album, gave an impressive jump on the Latin American charts. Really music to feel and connect, today for you this beautiful theme of the Kaffirs.

“Casi que me pierdo” es uno de los sencillos de su álbum “Un paso gigante” y vaya que fue un paso gigante ya que este álbum tuvo un éxito casi inmediato de ser lanzado, este el cual fue su doceavo disco de estudio, dio un salto impresionante en las listas latinoamericanas. Realmente música para sentir y conectar, hoy para ustedes este hermoso tema de los cafres.
