Today I want to travel a little in time, where in the 60's Rock n'Roll was considered the music of hippies and rebels who worshiped peace and drugs, at that time of sex, drugs and rock n ´roll. "The Hollies" is a British band created in Manchester in 1962, which marked its distinction thanks to its rock style of the time and the voice of its vocalist. Hoy quiero viajar un poco en el tiempo, donde en la década de los 60´s el Rock n´Roll era considerada la música de los hippies y rebeldes adoradores de la paz y las drogas, en aquella época del sexo, drogas y rock n´roll. “The Hollies” es una banda británica creada en Manchester en el año 1962, que marco su distinción gracias a su estilo rockero de la época y por la voz de su vocalista. Esta banda no fue conocida en los estados unidos sino hasta 1966, que pudo ser escuchada en las listas radiales de la época, donde impactó por el riff de guitarra que tenía una de sus canciones más famosas y que hasta estos tiempos es recordada. Esta banda se mantuvo como una de las consideradas con la invasión británica en lo que se refiere a la música, fusionando estilos y evolucionando para lo que significa ampliar su horizonte y también apoderarse de la industria en los estados unidos que a pesar de no tener esa firmeza dentro de la industria en américa, logró consagrarse como una banda de culto que increíblemente aún se encuentra activa, hasta la fecha de redacción de este post.
