Basant is the day of happiness and love, this day is celebrated once in a week. This day is celebrated almost all over the country. This festival is celebrated to celebrate the end of winter season and the arrival of spring season.

This festival is celebrated in Asian countries but I have seen this festival celebrated mostly in India and Pakistan. However, it is celebrated to welcome the new season.

On the day of Basant, everyone climbs on their roofs and flies kites and organizes a meal with their family and has a lot of fun.

As you can see in the video all my cousins ​​came to my terrace on Basant day and everyone bought their own kites and thread to fly.

In my city Quetta, Basant is celebrated for three days from Friday to Sunday. But the actual Basant is one day only on Friday.

On this day, the sky is filled with kites and songs are heard from every rooftop. Fire crackers and other crackers are set off. And from all sides there is the noise of flying kites.

As if all the people of the city get busy flying kites on their rooftops.
