Hoy quise compartir con ustedes este video donde les muestro a nuestro querido periquito llamado Pepino.

Pepino es un periquito de la especie llamada titica churica, también conocida como Perico Barbinaranja o Perico Alas bronceadas ambos nombres representados por los colores de sus plumas. Es hermoso❤️.

Aunque siempre he estado en contra de mantener a las aves en cautiverio, este caso ha sido muy particular. Este hermoso periquito se lo regalaron a mi abuela cuando estaba enferma y estaba recién nacido, así que desde que nació solo ha conocida la vida con humanos, cuando mi abuela empeoró de salud nos pidió a mi madre y a mí que cuando ella muriera, lo cuidaramos y así hemos hecho.

Desde que ella falleció, Pepino se ha convertido en nuestro recordatorio diaria de ella, de lo mucho que ella lo amaba, nosotros también lo amamos.

Pepino pasa todo el día libre, caminando sobre su jaula o en la mesa, pero en las noches le gusta dormir en su jaula. Sin embargo, yo comparto mucho con él, lo agarro, le hago cariños y a él le gusta mucho.

Today I wanted to share with you this video where I show you our beloved parakeet called Pepino.

Cucumber is a parakeet of the species called titica churica, also known as * Perico Barbinaranja * or * Perico Wings bronzed * both names represented by the colors of their feathers. It is beautiful❤️.

Although I have always been against keeping birds in captivity, this case has been very particular. This beautiful parakeet was given to my grandmother when she was ill and was newborn, so since she was born she has only known life with humans, when my grandmother's health deteriorated she asked my mother and me that when she died, we take care of her and so we have.

Since she passed away, Pepino has become our daily reminder of her, how much she loved him, we love him too.

Cucumber spends the whole day free, walking on his cage or on the table, but at night he likes to sleep in his cage. However, I share a lot with him, I hold him, I love him and he likes it a lot.
