I've been having some troubles finding myself into music initiatives. So, here's a cover with no particular reason. I wanted to record this and it goes that way. It is one of our Joropo Genres from the east side of Venezuela, Polo Margariteño. It is a fixed harmonic pattern with a clear modulation from a major tone to its minor relative.

This is a very simple arrangement of something that I should've recorded a long time ago, but for some weird reason didn't. It felt difficult. Now, it is here with some variations on the phrasing.

This kind of music is played a lot in the first days of September since the 8th, we have the celebration of Virgen del Valle. This advocation of Virgin Mary is the patron of the east of the country. So, in the days before the festivities and during them, you can listen to Polos being played and sung over many places.

He tenido algunos problemas para participar en las iniciativas musicales. Así que aquí va este cover sin una razón particular. Quería grabarlo y aquí lo tienen. Esto es uno de los subgéneros del Joropo Oriental (del lado este de Venezuela), se conoce como Polo Margariteño. Consta de un patrón armónico fijo con una modulación bien acentuada entre un tono mayor y su relativo menor.

Este arreglo es uno de esos que debería habar grabado hace mucho tiempo, pero que por alguna razón se me hacía difícil. Ahora lo traigo con algunas variaciones en el frase.

Es un tipo de música muy popular durante los primeros días de septiembre y durante la celebración de la Virgen del Valle, patrona del Oriente Venezolano. Durante esos días, es común escuchar este tipo de piezas y otras géneros de la música oriental.

Por aquí quiero dejarles un cover más viejo que hice de un Polo. No le presten mucha atención a mis pésimas habilidades de edición. De verdad que he progresado algo como músico y creador de contenido.
