¡Hola! Vuelvo por aquí para continuar con este tercer capítulo (no es que lo esté dividiendo yo, es que en el juego se van dividiendo las misiones por capítulos) cargado de acción, misiones secundarias, un easter-egg, y extrañas criaturas.

El capítulo lo comenzamos en la misma mansión donde terminamos el anterior. Tras revisar lo que nos quedaba de la habitación, salgo preparada para enfrentarme al hombre de la motosierra, pero debe haberse ido, porque ya no están ni él, ni los demás que me persiguieron hasta llegar aquí.

Por lo tanto retrocedí para recoger todos los objetos y tesoros que me fui dejando mientras huía, y de pronto, empecé a escuchar el lloriqueo de un perrito. Me apresuré a comprobar de dónde venía el sonido y... ¡Ahí teníamos el lobito atrapado en el cepo! Me frustré mucho cuando en el capítulo 1 vi al lobito muerto, pensé que en este remake no te darían la opción de salvarle, pero no es que hubiesen eliminado este hecho de la historia, sino que lo han puesto un poco más tarde. Me hizo mucha ilusión, y por supuesto, liberé al animal de la trampa.

We start the chapter in the same mansion where we ended the previous one. After checking what we had left of the room, I go out ready to face the chainsaw man, but he must be gone, because neither he nor the others who chased me until I got here are gone.

So I went back to collect all the objects and treasures I left behind while I was running away, and suddenly, I began to hear the whimpering of a little dog. I rushed to check where the sound was coming from and.... There we had the little wolf caught in the trap! I was very frustrated when in chapter 1 I saw the dead wolfie, I thought that in this remake they wouldn't give you the option to save him, but it's not that they had removed this fact from the story, they just put it in a little later. I was very excited, and of course, I freed the animal from the trap.

Después, con la llave insignia, abrí el portón que se encontraba bloqueado y vi que éste conectaba el camino con la pequeña aldea en la que estuvimos en el capítulo 1. Avancé y vi que de pronto, la torre se derrumbó bloqueando el paso, y no sólo eso, sino que una jauría de lobos vinieron a atacarme, esta vez no eran tan amables como el que acababa de liberar, sino que estos estaban claramente infectados y eran muy agresivos.

Then, with the insignia key, I opened the gate that was blocked and saw that it connected the path to the small village where we were in chapter 1. I advanced and saw that suddenly, the tower collapsed blocking the passage, and not only that, but a pack of wolves came to attack me, this time they were not as friendly as the one I had just released, but these were clearly infected and very aggressive.

Tras acabar con ellos, vi que se había abierto una trampilla por la que descendían unas escaleras de mano, la cual la anterior vez que estuvimos aquí, no estaba abierta. Así que descendí por ellas porque era la única manera de pasar al otro lado, porque al haberse derrumbado la torre ya no había más opción. Al pasar al otro lado, acabé con algunos infectados que estaban por allí merodeando y accedí a la iglesia, a la misma iglesia donde se metieron al escuchar la campana los infectados del capítulo 1.

After finishing with them, I saw that a trap door had opened through which some ladders descended, which the previous time we were here, was not open. So I went down them because it was the only way to get to the other side, because the tower had collapsed and there was no other option. When I passed to the other side, I finished with some infected that were hanging around and I accessed the church, the same church where the infected of chapter 1 got into when they heard the bell.

Dentro de la iglesia, al abrir una caja nos ataca una víbora. La apuñalé hasta que murió, ya que el cazar estos animales hace que luego los tengamos en el inventario y nos restauren salud si los usamos; aunque un poco más adelante veremos que si cazamos 3 de estas víboras y se las vendemos al buhonero, completaremos una misión secundaria.

Inside the church, when we open a box we are attacked by a viper. I stabbed it until it died, since hunting these animals means that we then have them in the inventory and they restore our health if we use them; although a little later we will see that if we hunt 3 of these vipers and sell them to the peddler, we will complete a secondary mission.

Destacar lo bonito y bien hecho que estaba el escenario de la iglesia. Estoy deseando ver cómo es el escenario del castillo cuando lleguemos a él. En la iglesia había un retrato colgado de Lord Saddler y decoración de cráneos que daban el toque más gore y tétrico.

I would like to point out how beautiful and well done the church stage was. I can't wait to see what the castle stage looks like when we get there. In the church there was a portrait hanging of Lord Saddler and skull decoration that gave the most gore and gloomy touch.

Tras esto, encontramos de nuevo al buhonero al que aproveché a comprarle el arma de subfusil TMP y venderle la primera víbora, además de algunos tesoros. Avancé hasta llegar a un cementerio que está justo enfrente de la iglesia grande a la que debíamos ir, pero la puerta de dicha iglesia estaba cerrada así que tocaba buscar otro camino para llegar hasta el lago.

No sin antes encontrar otra misión secundaria que consistía en romper unos emblemas de dos tumbas del cementerio, como no sabía cuáles eran fui rompiendo todos hasta que se completó la misión, y fui a cobrar la recompensa al buhonero aprovechando que estaba cerca.

After this, we met again the peddler to whom I bought the TMP submachine gun and sold him the first snake, as well as some treasures. I advanced until I reached a cemetery that is right in front of the big church where we had to go, but the door of the church was closed so I had to look for another way to get to the lake.

Not before finding another secondary mission that consisted of breaking some emblems of two tombs in the cemetery, as I did not know what they were I went breaking all of them until the mission was completed, and I went to collect the reward from the peddler taking advantage of the fact that he was nearby.

Una de mis gatas estaba siendo partícipe del gameplay porque se le oye todo el tiempo maullando por el fondo. Es porque está en celo, es el primer celo que tiene ya que es jovencita, estoy esperando a que se le pase para poder esterilizarla porque está en constante ansiedad maullando xD.
Encontré una puerta por un lateral por la que accedí y descendí otra trampilla para continuar mi camino hacia el lago.

One of my cats was being part of the gameplay because you can hear her meowing all the time in the background. It is because she is in heat, it is the first heat she has since she is young, I am waiting for it to pass so I can sterilize her because she is in constant anxiety meowing xD.
I found a door on the side through which I accessed and descended another trap door to continue my way to the lake.

Nos abrimos paso matando a algunos enemigos hasta llegar a la cantera. También por el camino encontré otra víbora a la que cacé. Al llegar a la cantera había otra misión secundaria de disparar a 5 medallones azules, allí se encontraba el primero, junto a un tesoro en las alturas. Empezamos a escuchar el rugir del monstruo gigante al que probablemente nos enfrentaremos pronto.

We made our way killing some enemies until we reached the quarry. Also along the way I found another snake that I hunted. When we got to the quarry there was another side mission to shoot 5 blue medallions, there was the first one, next to a treasure in the heights. We started to hear the roar of the giant monster that we will probably face soon.

Avanzamos y llegamos de nuevo hasta el buhonero que está ahora en otra localización, este hombre es muy rápido transportándose al parecer. Allí además de tener un arsenal de armas, veo que tiene comida, como detalle tiene arroz bomba y "fideos de la abuela" en una caja. Además, al fondo hay un ascensor, que al subir por él nos lleva a nuestra primera galería de tiro. Ya os adelanto que soy malísima disparando con el joystick del mando y no conseguí ninguna medalla de oro. Eran necesarias al menos tres medallas para conseguir un amuleto, pero en mi caso fueron de plata.

We move forward and arrive back to the hawker who is now in another location, this man is very fast apparently. There, besides having an arsenal of weapons, I see that he has food, as a detail he has bomb rice and "grandma's noodles" in a box. In addition, at the back there is an elevator, which takes us to our first shooting gallery. I'll tell you that I'm terrible at shooting with the joystick and I didn't get any gold medals. At least three medals were necessary to get an amulet, but in my case they were silver.

Al salir al exterior, vemos a través de unos prismáticos cómo dos infectados están tirando un cadáver al lago, del que emerge un monstruo y se lo come. Aquí recordé que en el juego original había un easter-egg, en el que si disparabas unas cuantas veces al agua, aparecía el monstruo y te mataba. Lo hice, y comprobé que también habían conservado ese easter-egg.

As we go outside, we see through binoculars how two infected are throwing a corpse into the lake, from which a monster emerges and eats it. Here I remembered that in the original game there was an easter-egg, in which if you shot a few times into the water, the monster would appear and kill you. I did so, and found that they had kept that easter-egg as well.

Por aquí cerca encontré otro medallón azul de los que había que romper para la misión secundaria, también un puzzle de unas fichas que hay que completar, coloqué la primera ficha que había encontrado previamente y luego en la piscifactoría, a la que nos dirigíamos y tuve que acabar con unos cuantos enemigos, encontrábamos otro. Allí completé la misión secundaria también de los medallones azules y la de las víboras, porque por el agua se podían cazar algunas, además de pescados que también restauraban la salud.

Nearby I found another blue medallion of those that had to be broken for the secondary mission, also a puzzle of some chips that must be completed, I placed the first chip that I had previously found and then in the fish farm, where we were going and I had to kill a few enemies, we found another one. There I completed the secondary mission also of the blue medallions and the snakes, because by water you could hunt some, plus fish that also restored health.

Habiendo conseguido también aquí la gasolina para la lancha que estaba en el lago, volví con todo completado a la lancha y, en una cinemática vemos cómo se nos queda parada la lancha a mitad de camino, surgiendo de las profundidades del agua el monstruo, al que tenemos que matar a arponazos. Tras matarlo, se termina el capítulo en el que vemos a Leon desmayándose en la lancha porque al parecer, empieza a afectarle el parásito que nos inyecytó Lord Saddler en el final del capítulo 1.

Having also got here the gasoline for the boat that was in the lake, I returned with everything completed to the boat and, in a cinematic we see how the boat stops halfway, emerging from the depths of the water the monster, which we have to kill with harpoons. After killing it, the chapter ends in which we see Leon fainting in the boat because apparently, the parasite that Lord Saddler injected us at the end of Chapter 1 begins to affect him.
