Opening 43 Diamond Loot Chests for EoS Rewards on April 15th & Opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs

Ahoy, on the 15th of April the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I claimed my rewards and recorded my video that day when I was back home, but later in the day was away from home again. A bit busy as well the days after so I didn't get to make some edits yet and make the thumbnail with some of the rewards I got. Especially not to write the post.

But now I have the post ready so here it is!

This season I played a lot in Modern Gold but also quite a bit in Wild Silver. In the last day I was around 50th place on the Silver Leaderboards for Wild, but I didn't play much there since then so I didn't manage to climb up to a spot with rewards.

I battled a bit before I was going out for a while, which was also before the season ended. I got to 43 Diamond Loot Chests then, not as many as in the previous seasons. Probably partially due to not getting as many wins maybe? Although I didn't really check how many wins I had in the previous season so hard to know for sure. I did also play a decent amount in Wild, this might be related to it as I get less Focus Points there.

On the final day I advanced back to Diamond after I finished my battling before the season ending to get Diamond End of Season Loot Chests in the next season too.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

From opening those 43 Loot Chests I get the following rewards displayed in a screenshot from splintershare info made by deadzy

Here are those rewards in bullet list:

• SPS: 152.2
• Merits: 672
• Legendary Potions: 58
• Alchemy Potions: 43
• Chaos Legion Packs: 1

A few big SPS drops in those chests. The total of them amounted to way more than double of the SPS I got in the previous season ending's loot chests. Also a Chaos Legion pack that's always nice to get!

Let's look at the cards now.

Common Cards:

• 1x Willy Coyotian
• 10x Swamp Spitter
• 11x Ferox Defender
• 5x Terraceous Grunt
• 16x Possessed Puppet
• 11x Dumacke Orc
• 7x Gobson Bomber

Rare Cards:

• 3x Ravenhood Warden
• 6x Pembrook Nymph

Epic Cards:

• 2x Evelyn Auvera

Well that's unfortunate that only one of the card drops was Epic and no Legendary cards in here. Also almost no Rare Cards with only 2 of the card chests being Rare cards. I guess because I got a lot of SPS drops.

It's too bad that there were no Gold Foild cards in here.

I mentioned how these Pembrook Nymph might be enough for me to get her to level 3. Turns out I was wrong, I am 1 short from getting her levelled up to level 3. Hopefully I get some more copies soon!

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Common Cards:

• 1x GOLD FOIL Silent Sha-Vi
• 1x GOLD FOIL Scavo Chemist
• 1x GOLD FOIL Antoid Platoon

Rare Cards:

• 2x Obsidian
• 1x Tenyii Striker
• 1x GOLD FOIL Tenyii Striker
• 1x Mycelic Slipspawn
• 2x Portal Spinner
• 1x Djinn Apprentice
• 1x Cursed Windeku
• 1x Xenith Archer

Epic Cards:

• 1x Prismologist

Well that was almost a standard pack opening with all Common cards and then 10 Rare Cards because that's the minimum. However right at the end one Epic card showed up so it's slightly better! Prismologist that's nice, I did just get enough to get her to level 2 but this one will be nice to work on upgrading her further.

No legendaries this time for the Chaos Legion Packs.

I did have a bit of luck with the Gold Foils this time. A total of 4 Gold Foil cards with 3 being Common and then one of them being a Rare card so that's quite nice. Gold Foil Tenyii Striker for the Rare card was also quite nice as it was the first time getting this card Gold Foil.

I found it quite funny how 3 of the 4 Gold Foil Cards happened to be for the Fire element xP
