Hello Afri-Tunes community. My name is ashiru. Welcome to Afri-Tunes, WEEK 107. I'm so excited to be here again. This week I will be doing a cover of a song title FORGIVE by Chike.

When people truly hurt us, it's a good thing to forgive them, because forgiving others is for us not for them. When we forgive others it helps us to overcome the feelings of anger, bitterness, blame, depression or revenge. It also brings to us, peace and happiness.

This song talks about reason why it's so important to let go of grudge and forgive others. In this song, Chike make us realize that when you don't forgive others, that means you are holding unto a grudge and keeping a grudge always brings about pain, bitterness and hatred but when we learned to forgive others, then we set ourself free, heal, and move forward in life.

Throughout this song, Chike revealed that whenever someone offend us, forgiving them is the only way to set ourself free, and live happily. So let us learn to always forgive other.
