Mount Pamitinan

Revisiting another mountain climbing experience video. This time it is Mount Pamitinan located in Sitio Wawa, Barangay San Rafael, Rodriguez, Rizal. The height of the mountain is 426 meters above sea level.

Perly and Daireen, my high school classmates and myself climbed the mountain for the first time in 26 October 2018. We were excited and curious as to what we would see at the top. And so even though the walk was long, we didn't mind the time because of the conversation and the laughter; you won't get bored 😅.

Typical experience in mountain climbing, it was not easy because of long and steep trails and there are also limestone cliffs. We need to climb on the rock using the rope to reach the top. It took us two and a half hours to reach the summit. It’s all worth it though we didn’t see the sunrise because its already past 7 AM when we reached the top.

The scenery is so beautiful and fascinating. It was really breath taking; it's worth the fatigue to see the beauty of the scenery when you're there on the top of the mountain and the feeling of being proud because "you conquered Mt. Pamitinan".

On the top of the mountain, you can see the stretch of the river, small houses from a far distance, sunlight that brings color to the surrounding nature; it was really worth it. It's like you don't want to go down the mountain because the nature is so beautiful.

After taking pictures and videos, we rest for a while and we eat trail food. After resting, we went down the mountain. This time it's easy to go back because it's downhill and we want to eat rice because we're feeling really hungry. This was a great experience and our hiking didn't end here but it was followed by many more hikes. Look out for more exciting videos in my next upload.
