Saludos amigos de la plataforma de Hive y de la comunidad de @espavlog, sean bienvenidos nuevamente a mi canal. Hoy le comparto un pequeño video grabado en mi espacio laboral aquí en Barrancabermeja Santander-Colombia.

Donde trabajo actualmente es una empresa de andamio que queda situada en un espacio agrícola, y dicho espacio está rodeado obviamente de mucha naturaleza y esto me permite a diario disfrutar de todas sus bellezas como en este caso los animales, entre los cuales puedo mencionar algunos de los que a diario puedo observar como son aves de diferentes especies, vacas, chivos, y por sobre todo las iguanas, ya que estos animales abundan en gran parte de Colombia y específicamente en la zona donde estoy se pueden avistar a diario incluso cientos de iguanas en el recorrido de mi casa al trabajo y del trabajo a mi casa.

Where I currently work is a scaffolding company that is located in an agricultural area, and this space is obviously surrounded by lots of nature and this allows me daily to enjoy all its beauties as in this case the animals, among which I can mention some of which I can observe daily as are birds of different species, cows, goats, and above all iguanas, as these animals abound in much of Colombia and specifically in the area where I am can be seen daily even hundreds of iguanas on the route from my house to work and from work to my house.

La iguana aquí en Colombia es un animal muy respetado al cual incluso existen leyes que penan el maltrato hacia las mismas ya que estas, son el símbolo petrolero de Colombia, Por lo cual en la entrada de cada una de las refinerías que se encuentran en este país lo primero que vamos a observar es un dibujo, un mural o alguna artesanía alusiva a las iguanas, de hecho trabajo muy cerca de la refinería y todos los días paso por la entrada donde se puede observar esto que les comento.

Cada mañana cuando llego a mi trabajo al acercarme a la puerta de la oficina lo primero que veo correr por debajo de los contenedores son las iguanas que se encuentran escondidas en el monte, también incluso sentado en mi escritorio si observo por la ventana puedo ver en el patio cinco o seis iguanas juntas, comiendo desperdicios o hojas que se encuentran en el suelo.

The iguana here in Colombia is a very respected animal to which there are even laws that punish the mistreatment of the same since these are the oil symbol of Colombia, which is why at the entrance of each of the refineries that are in this country the first thing we will observe is a drawing, a mural or some craft alluding to the iguanas, in fact I work very close to the refinery and every day I go through the entrance where you can see this that I tell you.

Every morning when I get to work when I approach the office door the first thing I see running under the containers are the iguanas that are hidden in the bush, also even sitting at my desk if I look out the window I can see in the yard five or six iguanas together, eating garbage or leaves that are on the ground.

Desde que trabajo en esta empresa me he vuelto un fanático de tomar fotografías a las iguanas, uno de los retos más difíciles es poder acercarse a por lo menos un metro de distancia a ellas que es la distancia máxima a la que he podido acercarme y creo que es más que suficiente ya que estos animales golpean muy fuerte con su cola e incluso, en la piel humana pueden causarte heridas a las cuales pueden asistir con suturas, porque en realidad el golpeo de su cola es bastante fuerte.

Traté de hacer lo posible en documentar parte de este ambiente aquí en mi trabajo en un pequeño espacio de descanso para compartirlo aquí en la comunidad.

Since I work in this company I have become a fan of taking pictures of iguanas, one of the most difficult challenges is to be able to get at least one meter away from them which is the maximum distance I have been able to get close and I think it is more than enough because these animals hit very hard with their tail and even on human skin can cause wounds which can be assisted with sutures, because actually the beating of their tail is quite strong.

I tried my best to document some of this environment here at my work in a small break space to share it here in the community.
