Mirándote bajabas la frente de nácar
Y cándida esquivaban

En las blondas del velo andaluz.

Dama antañona gentil
El honor fue tu escudo
Supo en sus galas unir
El amor y el hogar
Noches de luna escuchó
Al balcón serenatas
Y de rendido galán aceptó
Las ternezas bailando un vals.

Lindísimas muchachas del tiempo de ahora
De púrpura los labios los ojos carbón
Falda corta, mejillas carmín, desenvuelta con aire de sport
Histéricas miradas que al hombre provocan

This week the theme is Humility, that human virtue that makes the ego cease to exist and that ironically the more someone possesses it the more valuable it is, and the more someone boasts of possessing it, the further away he is from it.

The waltz that I bring you today speaks of that candor and simplicity linked to the beauty of women, it is special was dedicated to the women of the colonial era of the capital of my country, who showed a simple attitude and full of innocence and humility.
