Hive Open Mic Week 156 . "Sólo el Amor" Cover

"Hasta el extremo", un tema propuesto por mi querido amigo @wbrandt que nos lleva a buscar la forma de expresar este concepto. Personalmente me considero una persona que vive siempre en los extremos, al ser muy hedonista siempre busco experimentar y expresar todo en su máximo nivel, o lo doy todo o no, o lo vivo bien o no lo vivo. Esto no se si es un defecto o virtud pero me ha traído cosas buenas y algunas no tan buenas.

LLevar las cosas al extremo o vivirlas de ese modo puede resultar bueno en algunas experiencias, pero también puede ser muy peligroso. Ahora, particularmente hay emociones y valores que siempre viviré hasta el extremo, como el amor, la verdad, la sinceridad y la disposición a disfrutar la vida. Porque siento que no tengo otra manera de vivirlas.

"Sólo el amor" es una canción de Silvio Rodriguez que expresa que debemos vivir el amor hasta "la locura" , hasta el extremo, pues sino, no tiene sentido. Esto me hace recordar una frase de la Madre Teresa de Calcúta que decía "Hay que amar hasta que duela", siempre he considerado que el verdadero amor no duele, pero si que si lo sentimos hay que expresarlo con la intensidad que lo sientas.

Muchas veces he conocido personas que han hecho nacer de mí la expresión del amor de una manera muy profunda y cuando empiezo a expresarlo se asustan, luego me he dado cuenta que muchas personas no están acostumbradas a sentirse amadas de esa manera y pueden tomarlo de una forma muy mala. Lo cierto es que en mi caso, cuando decido expresar mi amor, lo hago de la manera más intensa que pueda, sino no puedo.

Otro mensaje que puedo sacar de esta canción es que si vas a hacer algo, hazlo desde el amor, con esa entrega profunda, que de verdad te mueva las fibras, sino no vale la pena, porque como dice Silvio allí "Sólo el amor convierte en milagro el barro". El amor todo lo puede, ese amor real, el que cuando se manifiesta sólo hace bien al mundo. No hablo de apegos, ni de sufrir por otro, o hacer sacrificios, porque cuando amas realmente nada constituye un sacrificio.

Ser "Extremistas" es considerado un aspecto a veces muy malo en la sociedad, muchos grupos extremistas han hecho mucho daño, pero a mi parecer no están guiados por el amor, porque el amor está basado en el respeto a otros. En mi caso soy extremista para muchas cosas, sobre todo para alejarme de personas que me han hecho daño, no soy rencorosa pero me alejo de forma definitiva. En mi vida diaria también soy extremista, por ejemplo hay días en que prefiero no comer nada porque sencillamente lo que hay no me gusta, y puede ser tildado de malcriadéz, pero particularmente no voy a comer algo o hacer algo porque "toca" , todo lo que hago debe generar en mí una emoción, una razón de ser, un placer, porque sino me siento un ser en modo automático sobreviviendo la vida.

Y podría seguir esta disertación, porque este concepto de llevar las cosas "Hasta el extremo" ha hecho que mi vida esté llena de anécdotas que ahora me hacen sonreir. (algunas no tanto).

Personally I consider myself a person who always lives in extremes, being very hedonistic I always seek to experience and express everything at its maximum level, or I give it all or not, or I live it well or I don't live it. I don't know if this is a defect or a virtue but it has brought me good things and some not so good.

Taking things to the extreme or living them that way can be good in some experiences, but it can also be very dangerous. Now, particularly there are emotions and values that I will always live to the extreme, like love, truth, sincerity and willingness to enjoy life. Because I feel I have no other way to live them.

"Sólo el amor" is a song by Silvio Rodriguez that expresses that we should live love to the point of "madness", to the extreme, because otherwise, if we don't, we will never be able to live it. to the extreme, otherwise, it makes no sense. This reminds me of a phrase of Mother Teresa of Calcutta who said "You have to love until it hurts", I have always considered that true love does not hurt, but if we feel it we must express it with the intensity you feel it.

Many times I have met people who have made me express love in a very deep way and when I start to express it they get scared, then I have realized that many people are not used to feel loved in that way and can take it in a very bad way. The truth is that in my case, when I decide to express my love, I do it in the most intense way I can, otherwise I cannot.

Another message I can take from this song is that if you are going to do something, do it from love, with that deep dedication, that really moves the fibers, otherwise it is not worth it, because as Silvio says there "Only love turns mud into a miracle". Love can do everything, that real love, the one that when it manifests itself only does good to the world. I am not talking about attachments, nor about suffering for another, or making sacrifices, because when you really love nothing constitutes a sacrifice.

Being "Extremists" is sometimes considered a very bad aspect in society, many extremist groups have done a lot of damage, but in my opinion they are not guided by love, because love is based on respect for others. In my case I am extremist for many things, especially to stay away from people who have hurt me, I am not resentful but I stay away for good. In my daily life I am also extremist, for example there are days when I prefer not to eat anything because I simply do not like what is there, and it can be labeled as spoiled, but I will not particularly eat something or do something because "it's my turn", everything I do must generate in me a feeling of respect for others. Everything I do must generate in me an emotion, a raison d'être, a pleasure, because otherwise I feel like an automatic being surviving life.

And I could continue this dissertation, because this concept of taking things "to the extreme" has made my life full of anecdotes that now make me smile (some not so much).
