Farewell cover by @zbabe: A dedication song for you my friend @erikasue

Friends come and go. There will always be seasonal friends. Friends from elementary, high school, and college. There will also come to our life, a friend who we didn't expect will have a big part in our life.

I found friends in the virtual world where I learned a lot. I can learn from them that life is vast and beyond what I see in person. And here in the hive, I found friends with whom I was able to be inspired by how they interact with you. They made me feel I belong and that sometimes I never felt in person. And @erikasue is one of them.

@erikasue was the one who encouraged me to do one of my passions, and that is to sing and share it with everyone here in the hive. I never thought I will be inspired by someone that will make me do things that I never expected to do. And that is to do a song cover of myself and post it where everyone will see and watch. I am a shy person and I don't like singing in front of many people but here I am, singing in this community.

Just the other day, I and @erikasue was on chat and she taught me how to upload a song cover at threespeak. She taught me the step by step for posting the video. I was actually planning before and just the other night, I started my journey. And I was overwhelmed by how warm the comments on my first post. And because I don't understand some of the comments, I messaged her yesterday morning about what app she used on how to translate another language. We started saying good morning that time and I waited for her reply. But she didn't reply and I thought she was just busy not until I saw messages in discord I can't believe their topic. And when I learned it was true, I can't believe that one of my virtual friends was gone. I still can't believe and never thought that I will feel the sadness and pain of losing a friend. You know, we just met online and never see each other in person, but she made some changes to me and was the one who pushed me to do the passion of singing which I never heard from my friends in person. That's why she has a big part of my life now as I feel her kindness towards me and I know not just only with me but with others also.

That's why I decided to sing a song for her. As a sign that I will continue my journey of singing a song here in the hive. And to remember her for supporting my way in singing here in hive. She might not be here anymore and won't able to hear her sing, but I will always cherish those times when she says, she'll support me always.

May you be in paradise now my friend. You will always be treasured. Thank you for making me who I am today.
