[Esp/Eng] El Pavo Real, reflexión/The Peacock, reflection

Hi bloggers! He introduced me to the Cervantes community, it is the first time that I publish here, I am Yuri, I study performing arts and enjoy nature a lot. Here I share a reference of a meeting that I had little with a Peacock.

En diciembre salí con unas amigas. Sin planificar, nos asomamos en la Estancia, una casa colonial que funciona como museo por Caracas, con bellos jardines. Actualmente tiene patos, gallinas, gallos, pavas y un Pavo Real, caminando libres por toda la Estancia.

Nos sentamos a conversar en un banco de los jardines, cuando les comenté que no entendía, por qué los pavos reales tenían una cola tan larga, tan engorrosa para moverse y que no tenía más utilidad que levantarse para cortejar a las pavas.

In December I went out with some friends. Without planning, we peeked in the "Estancia", a colonial house that works as a museum in Caracas, with beautiful gardens. He currently has ducks, chickens, roosters, pavas, and a Peacock, walking free throughout the "Estancia".

We sat down to converse in a garden bench, when I told them that I didn't understand, why the Peacock had such a long tail, so cumbersome to move and that he had no more use than getting up to court the pavas.

Hay mismo el Pavo Real abrió su cola, las tres quedamos hipnotizadas, embobadas, con aquel deleite, aquella danza de colores y brillitos tornasolados, que vibraba y conmovía por completo todos los sentidos, por su belleza, única.

La belleza parecía recordarme el poder de la palabra Encanto.
La naturaleza, el creador y su permanente estado de resaltar la belleza, quizá, por el simple hecho de embellecer todo.

¿Por qué hay cosas que son bellas? Aparentemente sin mayor utilidad que cautivar, hipnotizar, envolver, podría ser ¿Para ser imperecedero, perpetuarse en la creación?
Todo lo que es deseado, perdura. Mientras las pavas deseen a los pavos con plumas más grandes, más brillantes, así seguirán naciendo pavos, con bellísimos plumajes.

Beauty seemed to remind me of the power of the word Charm.
Nature, the creator and his permanent state of highlighting beauty, perhaps, by the simple fact of beautifying everything.

Why are there things that are beautiful? Apparently no greater use than to captivate, hypnotize, wrap, could be to be imperishable, perpetuate in creation?
Everything that is desired, endure. As long as the pavas wish to the larger, brighter paves with feathers, they will continue to be born, with beautiful plumments.'''
