Last Saturday, I took a break form my usually complicated life and hung out with baby Elsie. Elsie was born on the 28th of January and I got to see her about a week after her birth but she was just too tiny and I got scared of holding her for too long. The last time I held a baby that tiny was in 2016 when my nephew was born.
Elsie's my friend @khaleesii's niece and my niece by proxy. I think I'm a little to excited about her birth because of how much I've always wanted a baby girl around. Everyone giving birth around me decided it would be a great idea to only have sons.
I'm not gender biased or anything. I'm always happy whenever I see babies, but after 7 nephews and no niece, I crave the sight of a baby girl. Elsie, so far, satisfied that craving. I mean, even my mom who dien't know much about her family was excited when I told her I had a baby girl to love.
She's the cutest little bean. She sleeps all day and stays up all night. I love how she gives that old lady look and casually occupies an entire room. She's a smart baby already and I'm happy to watch her grow.
Thanks for watching and reading
