Getting started on Hive can be overwhelming. Newbies just want to know how they can start earning $10 and above per post from their first posts and most times, they get discouraged when this doesn't happen fast enough.

I see a lot of them struggling and I know the feeling. I still struggle sometimes but when I realize that there are so many communities and the options are numerous, I chill and take things one step at a time.

Not overthinking your daily posts on Hive can do a lot for you. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean not taking your posts seriously, I really just mean enjoying the process. Just because we say you can write to earn doesn't mean you have to show up wearing a 3-piece suit every day just because you want us to know how serious you are. Have some fun!

I have to admit that if you read posts from awesome minds like @josediccus and sometimes even @belemo, you'd think you have to be like them and write like them to survive on the blockchain, but unless you can keep up with that sort of content day in and day out, you will burn out faster than a matchstick.

Finally, I have to say a huge thank you to @samostically for suggesting I try out a particular video compressor and @almostsober for also suggesting it. It really made a huge difference on my upload time and the quality is still pretty dope.
