This is how it rains in the Andes

Hello fellow Hive! As you know, I live in an Andean city, where the mountains and the greenery of the vegetation dominate the landscape. As a consequence of being located in the Andean foothills, the winds usually collide with the great peaks and therefore generate a large accumulation of clouds. that result in constant rains of small, medium and large proportions, which usually serve as a great relief for the high temperatures that are felt daily throughout the northern area of the state of Táchira.

In this city, rain is usually a synonym of freshness, therefore, in general terms, it is well received by all of us who live here, and many of us take advantage of that water to fill tanks and be able to use it in many activities of daily life, that is how it is achieved. save drinking water and considered that it is a fairly efficient method of using the natural resources that we have at our disposal.

These images are taken from my mother's house, she is in some areas that can be classified as a slope, therefore, every time it rains the street becomes a mighty river that runs straight towards the main street, in where it drains towards the various pipes that cross the area. For the children of the community, rain is synonymous with joy and play, since they like to go out and get wet and have fun with the cold waters of each downpour.

I really like the rain, the sound of the falling drops and the characteristic smell of this type of storm catches my attention, so whenever I can I enjoy this type of natural phenomenon to the fullest and I hope to continue sharing with all of you many images, anecdotes and videos of these true natural spectacles.

Hola compañeros de Hive! Como ya saben yo vivo en una ciudad andina, en donde las montañas y el verdor de la vegetación dominan el paisaje, como consecuencia de ubicarnos en el piedemonte andino los vientos suelen chocar con las grandes cimas y por lo tanto generan una gran acumulación de nubes que dan como consecuencia constantes lluvias de pequeñas, medianas y grandes proporciones, las cuales suelen servir como un gran alivio para las altas temperaturas que cotidianamente se sienten en toda la zona norte del estado Táchira.

En esta ciudad la lluvia suele ser un sinónimo de frescura por lo tanto en términos generales es bien recibida por todos los que habitamos acá, además muchos aprovechamos esa agua para llenar tanques y poderla usar en muchas actividades propias de la vida cotidiana, así se logra ahorrar el agua potable y consideró que es un método bastante eficiente de usar los recursos naturales que tenemos a nuestra disposición.

Estas imágenes son tomadas desde la casa de mi mamá, ella se encuentra en unas zonas que se puede catalogar como una pendiente, por lo tanto, cada vez que llueve la calle se convierte en un caudaloso rio que corre directo hacia la calle principal, en donde se va escurriendo hacia los diversos caños que atraviesan la zona. Para los niños de la comunidad la lluvia es sinónimo de alegría y juego, ya que les gusta salir a mojarse y divertirse con las frías aguas de cada aguacero.

A mi me gusta mucho la lluvia, me llama mucho la atención el sonido de las gotas al caer y el olor característico de este tipo de temporales, por eso cada vez que puedo disfruto al máximo de este tipo de fenómenos naturales y espero poder seguir compartiendo con todos ustedes muchas imágenes, anécdotas y videos de estos verdaderos espectáculos naturales.
