Son de aromas

Mujeres ha habido de aromas intensos
Florales y frutales sus huellas en mi mente
Difícil evocarlas sin que inconscientemente
Revivan mis sentidos esos perfumes densos

Jolgorios de deseo, de placeres inmensos
Ceñidos nuestros cuerpos, sudores por torrente
Nuestra pieles destilan pasión como una fuente
Mas sus fragancias brotan e impregnan cual inciensos

En recuerdos el sexo me evoca unos jardines
Ramilletes de rosas, gardenias y jazmines
Habitan mi memoria con persistencia obsesa

Yo recuerdo sus caras, sus gestos, sus siluetas
Y lo que complementa las semblanzas completas:
Los sublimes olores, durazno, piña, fresa

They are of aromas

There have been women with intense aromas
Floral and fruity, their traces in my mind.
Difficult to evoke them without unconsciously
Revive in my senses those dense perfumes

Jollifications of desire, of immense pleasures
Girded our bodies, sweating in torrents
Our skins distill passion like a fountain
But their fragrances gush and impregnate like incenses

In memories sex evokes in me gardens
Bouquets of roses, gardenias and jasmines
They inhabit my memory with obsessive persistence

I remember their faces, their gestures, their silhouettes
And what complements the complete semblances:
The sublime smells, peach, pineapple, strawberry

Cuando yo pensé que ya había llegado al final de esta series de sonetos alejandrinos, con esta temática vivencial y erótica, me vino como un nuevo aire y descubrí que aún me queda más repertorio de vida para seguir hurgando en esta propuesta poética. Así que al menos un par de poemas más están en camino y no me atrevo a decir hasta dónde llegaré con esto.

¡El libro de sonetos tendrá que esperar a que verdaderamente sienta que ya he agotado el tema!

Le he tomado mucho gusto a declamar estos poemas, pues me obligan a reenfocar su contenido para hacerlo lo más neutro posible, pero tratando de mantener (o destacar) su sonoridad. Así que también en ese campo seguiré experimentando.

When I thought I had reached the end of this series of alexandrine sonnets, with this experiential and erotic theme, a new breath of air came to me and I discovered that I still have more repertoire of life left to continue delving into this poetic proposal. So at least a couple more poems are on the way and I dare not say how far I will go with this.

The sonnet book will have to wait until I truly feel I have exhausted the subject!

I have taken great pleasure in declaiming these poems, as they force me to refocus their content to make it as neutral as possible, but trying to maintain (or emphasize) their sonority. So I will continue to experiment in this field as well.
